APPyness: Latergram

So I love scheduling my posts on here... and I really wanted to do that for instagram also... but there isn't a way to do that right now... but there are some apps that will give you reminders so that you can post them yourself. There are some pros and cons to this app...but yeah.

Pros
-So easy to use. I thought it was going to be really hard to use... but it was actually super easy to figure out.
- You can put a filter on instagram when you go to post it. It doesn't allow it in the app itself, but its easy enough to do on your own.
-It's free! So that's a plus.
-They ask for emails and say "We don't like spam and you probably don't either." And I trust them. Haven't had this app long... but I haven't gotten any emails yet, so thats good.
- Just convient to have a scheduled time for your posts. Probably useful if you have a giveaway or one you want to enter daily. Lol.

Cons
- Doesn't automatically copy the text if you write that first... kind of annoying. I think it saves it to your notes if you want it too... but tbh... its easier for me to copy/paste.
- Its not necessarily difficult if you miss posting your photo when its scheduled... but its not exactly the easiest thing to do.
-It is a whole different app... so that's not the easiest thing. It'd be easier if you could schedule in Insta like you can on these blogs.

Somewhere in the middle:
Its only a scheduler. There is no app that can post the photos automatically because you can't have another app post without your permission... it'd be easier if you could schedule it with permission, but you do need to actually manually do some things... so you can see the pros and cons of how that works. Lol.

I don't think this is for fun instagram posts... I wouldn't do it on my personal blog unless I was doing 100 days of happy challenge or a selfie a day photo or something... but for my Beauty Blog it just makes everything easier. So its not really for everyone... but it does have a purpose for people that need it... does that make sense? I'm crashing and I'm gonna go to sleep. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
