Weekly Wrap Up: 5.29.16

This is a fun week filled with love and happiness! My sister got married last Sunday and my parents celebrate their anniversary today!

Favorites

Jane The Virgin- I finished this season of Jane The Virgin and I thought it was really good! I liked the end with the surprises... I hope Michael is okay and Jane is okay... I think they're going to make him paralyzed so that he and Jane can't have sex... which is sad. But... good tv? Maybe? Idk. Lol. Or he'll only remember being broken up with Jane and resent her.

Pinot's Palette- What a great place to hang out! I already did a whole review on my experience there and I showed my painting and stuff there... but yeah. Its a lot of fun! I liked it a lot!

Snippets from the week
-Sunday My sister got married... so that was a big event! Very exciting! I got my hair and makeup done at a nice salon, there were lots of pictures taken... it was a lot of fun!
- Monday I ate food I think... and slept. It was a tiring day after the wedding of corse.
-think I ate food on Tuesday too...
- Wednesday... maybe I didn't eat food... lol jk I did. I think I might have done something else too?
-Thursday I for sure ate food and it was good.
-Friday was the Pinot's Palette party and that was a lot of fun.
-Saturday I once again ate food.
-I found $20 in a parking lot on Saturday!
-Also had a wonky eye this week... which was no fun!

TV Highlights
Jane The Virgin... I watched some movies that I'll talk about later... and other stuff. Lol.

Noteworthy snacks
So the food at the wedding was amazing... but there was a platter with fruits and cheeses that they put out in the bridal suite and the groom suite... and that was amazing! Maybe it was just because we were all starving or maybe its cause I had never really tried those cheeses before and I was just discovering that I liked them... but it was really good!

I've mentioned eating food, I had hibachi this week and salad and greek food and kung po chicken... which I didn't like that much... but still. Good week. Ohhh and Pirogies that were very good!

Sweedish fish! Lol. The assorted ones tasted the same.

News and World Events

Eva Longoria got married this weekend also! She married Jose Antonio Baston in Mexico over the weekend!

There's a lot of Johnny Depp news this week. Amber Heard filed for divorce and a restraining order claiming that the actor abused her. His mother died at the age of 81, and his daughter Lilly Rose Depp  celebrated her birthday. So lots of sad things and some happy things. I'm hoping that they aren't all true.

Jennifer Aniston's mother also  died this week. Very sad.

And I think that's everything... more or less. Idk. Lol. Bummer week. Should have saved the wedding for last.

Thoughts
Sometimes you need to take some time and enjoy things... that's all I got. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
