Review: Hydro Flask 24 Oz Standard Mouth Water Bottle

I use this pretty much every day and I thought "Hey... why not review that." So if you were thinking of buying one of these... hopefully this helps.

I've had this water bottle... forever pretty much and as I said, I use it pretty much every day. It holds 24 ounces of water and because it is Stainless Steel, it keeps the water cold on the inside. And it'll keep it cold for a really long time too. I'd say it stays pretty cool for a day at least. Its really good that way.

It also does dent if you drop it. It won't break or anything, it just puts a dent in the bottle... so if that bothers you, then you might not like it. Doesn't really bother me. I'm not looking for the most beautiful water bottle ever... I just want it to get the job done.

The lid is slightly hard to open. It's a twist off, so it isn't the most difficult... but sometimes when I have this in the gym I drop the lid on the floor... so that gets a tiny bit annoying... but it does only take a second to remove and put back on. It also has a hole on the lid so you can hold it on your fingers... its not the easiest thing to hold though! Its kind of heavy because it is stainless steel... as I've said. You can throw this in your gym bag without really worrying about it opening up, the lid is pretty spill proof, I wouldn't leave an electronic device in with the water bottle if you have it like that though. That seems dangerous to me.

The website does have a lot of different styles and lids and sizes... so if you don't want something  really big and kind of hard to carry, you could get something different. If the lid is too hard to get out, they have other designs... so you can kind of customize this and find one that fits your needs. I like the 24 ounces because I don't need to refill that often and I like knowing how many ounces of water I've had throughout the day... but you can get smaller ones and keep track easily too.

The one thing that would maybe make me like "meh" is the price of it... because these can be pricey. The one I have is about $30... which seems like a lot for a water bottle... but this is a high quality water bottle. My sister got me this when it was on sale and I think they have sales often enough that you could probably find a deal on this... but I think its worth it. I like that its easy to carry, easy enough to get the lid on and off, and it keeps my water cold and  safe. And its not going to break or get dirty... so overall, I would definitely pay $30 for this if this one were to disappear or if I felt like I needed a second one or something.

I think these would make a great gift too. With Mother's Day and Father's Day coming up, this would be great. Especially if you know someone that works out a lot or just tries to drink a lot of water. Around Father's Day one year they had one with a Tie design on it... so my sister got that for my dad and he still uses it a lot. My dad has a few of these and he has them all around the house pretty much. Lol.

I also think you can find these on amazon... idk if they are cheaper or if they have bundles or anything... cause that would be nice... but yeah. Overall, this is a great product and you should check it out if you want to drink some more water or know someone that wants to!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
