Chart Chat: 5.30.16

Hello and Happy Memorial Day everyone! Remember to take some time to remember what is important on this day... and not just the sales, cookouts, and movies.

5) Neighbors 2- I kind of want to see this movie. I didn't see the first Neighbors... but I wouldn't mind seeing it or this new one. These don't look like the funniest movies ever... but it looks funny and I like it. I like the looks of it at least lol. I'm good with Zach Effron. I can handle some Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen... all funny people... seems like a funny enough movie!

4) Captain America: Civil War- I've talked about this before... I want to get more into the Marvel things... but its going to take some time. Lol. I also don't really like Iron Man... but I like the Avengers... so idk! We'll see.

3) The Angry Birds Movie- This movie looks bad. I feel bad saying it because I know animated movies are hard work and a lot of good people are voices in this movie and I'm sure its a great kids movie... but it looks like one I would hope that my kids wouldn't want to see because it looks annoying... so yeah. Lol. I don't like dissing anyone... but yeah.

2) Alice Through The Looking Glass- I want to see this... I feel like I'd like it better if I just half-watch it on TV... lol. And clearly the movie doesn't need my support, its doing fine on its own... so thats probably what I'll do! I'm sure its okay. I just don't really want to see it right now. Lol.

Ohhh wow... maybe it does need my support as it only made $28 million and it cost $170 million to make... That's also a pretty weak opening for a sequel on memorial day! I had no idea until the news said "Box office flop! Find out what movie had trouble finding an audience and what movie was number 1 this weekend." Probably doesn't help much that Johnny Depp is involved in some scandals... and that I'm out of college and the first movie came out when I was a senior in high school... kinda lost an audience taking too long I think. And Tim Burton didn't direct this one, James Bobin from The Muppets (I believe) directed it... weird.

1) X Men: Apocalypse- I haven't seen any of the X Men Movies... and I wanted to a few years ago... but at a certain point... there is some overkill. Okay I guess I've seen one X Men movie... Deadpool! And that one I really liked. So including Deadpool there are 9 X Men Movies so far... that's a lot. And I don't think they're going anywhere between them and Deadpool. There's already a Deadpool 2 scheduled for 2017... so yeah. Apparently at the end of Apocalypse there is a clue to Deadpool 2... so that's kinda cool. That makes me want to see it now! Ugh! Lol.

Byeee! Hope you find this helpful if you're deciding to see one of these movies. Maybe you want to see something different, I kind of want to see Money Monster or the Nice Guys... but yeah. Or even Love and Friendship, that might be good.

This made 65 Million since I'm mentioning how much everything made. The Budget was 178 million... so it'll make that in its run... but Alice was under what it was expected to make... so yeah.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
