It List: May 2016

Sooo this is going to be a crazy month... here are some favorites!

1) Nick Jonas- Slightly Embarrassing... but yes. Nick Jonas tops the list. Idk why... I have a crush on him out of nowhere... and I think he's just a cool dude. I like his music, I've been listening to it a lot lately... and he's pretty hot. I'm excited for him on James Corden! I'm not even going to go into a lot of detail on this because its embarrassing. But yeah.

2) DNCE- Now from Nick Jonas to Joe Jonas... I was never into The Jonas Brothers... till now lol. DNCE is a great band, kinda reminds me of Cobra Starship... Kinda wish they had more songs than the 6... but I like them a lot. I did a review on their EP CD thingy... I like it a lot.

3) The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz- I recently joined a book club with a few friends and we meet on Skype and this was the first book that we read... and I really like it! Its a good read. I'm not usually a self-help book person... but I thought this one was pretty great! I agreed with the general gist of it... if you don't know what its about... its kind of 4 things that will make your life a little more simple and easy. Its hard to live by... but its not impossible... and it really shows you how to look at different people and what to do with your life and stuff like that. So that's a good book to read, no matter where your at in life really, it helps.

4) Iced White Mocha with Raspberry- This is delicious! I love the white mocha lattes from starbucks, but I think there's something special about having them iced with just a little bit of raspberry in them. Really yummy. I just really like it. Its good!

5) Crazy Ex Girlfriend/ Jane The Virgin- I've been catching up on these this week... and I absolutely love them! I can't wait for next season of Crazy Ex Girlfriend... I'm really excited to watch the last few episodes of Jane The Virgin... and it's just really exciting! I'm really liking it!

6) Weddings- This is just what's happening this month and what's been on my mind... my sister's wedding. So... yeah. that's making it to the It list. It might have happened already by the time I'm posting it... maybe it didn't... idk! But yeah. This is a favorite.

7) Eat Smart Snacks Spicy Black Bean Tortilla Chips- I got these from Influenster... cannot stop eating them. Well I can now because I ran out... but they are delicious! I Loveeee them! I need to find where to buy these... I hope they have them at Wegmans or Stop and Shop...cause I like that!

8) Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Collection- I've been loving the Alice palette from Urban Decay and I got a couple of the lipsticks and the packaging is amazing and I really like them too. Everythings so good and so pretty I'm excited to have them!

9) Dance Lessons- Still dancing and having fun! Lol. Not much to say here.

10) Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande- I've had this stuck in my head all day and I figured, its worth a mention! I've been singing it... I'm a little over it TBH but I still kinda love it and its worth mentioning. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
