Scribble about life: 1/9/14 1:30 AM

Sooo... I thought I would just literally scribble about life every once and a while and not post anything until a much later date. I'm a senior in college, and I know every once and a while, I'm going to have too much work to do to really want to post something real, so I'll post these and it'll be like taking a trip back in the past when I publish it...

Right now it's like taking a trip into the future... I'm posting this at the very beginning of a big year for me. I'm about to start my last semester of school ever right now and I'm nervous of what's going to happen after that. Will I have a job? Probably, I'm probably going to stick with the job I have now until I get to become the next Tina Fey. Will I be the next Tina Fey by the time this is posted? Who knows, probably not quite yet... but I believe in myself and I don't think I'm that far off. Also more related to the actual blog- how many people will actually read this by the time I post this? Right now my blogs have not been getting many pageviews. I have about 650-ish pageviews and the blog that has been viewed the most is a review I did on The Carrie Diaries... which was like 14 or 15 views maybe... this is not as popular of a blog as I'd like it to be. I mean it doesn't really matter to me if this gets that many pageviews or not, but you know... I post every day... someone is bound to read this blog at some point right? I should post this on tumblr cause I had followers there and I kind of abandoned that for this blog...

Anyhoo today- well technically yesterday right now I had a fun day with my mom. We went out to lunch at this place called The Noodles Company- which was pretty bad, but had reasonably priced pad thai... so I feel like I'll end up back there. It was pretty flavorless though. It just opened up, maybe it's gotten better by the time this is published! One can hope

After that we saw Anchorman 2 which was really funny. I didn't like it as much as the first one, my mom liked it more. I actually just finished writing a review on that... again this will be published much later so I'll link it at some point because I haven't even published that yet...

Also it has been freezing cold this week, it's supposed to get up to the 40's today! That's incredibly warm considering Tuesday was like 13 degrees at its highest! Soon it'll be in the high 50s and we'll be bustin out the shorts... cause thats how NJ weather is lol.

Anyway I hope this look into the past was entertaining. I will probably write some more of these whenever I have a particular good or bad day and want to just write a diary-type thing. Hopefully I'll remember to publish this one first, as this is the first time I am doing this and don't know how many blogs I'll have by the time this one is published. Hopefully a lot!

So yeah, thats it I'm about to go to bed now, but I will see you all in the near-but-not-immediate- future! Byeeeee!

Future shannon edit: I'm not sure how true any of this is now. Lol it's my real last first day of school now and it's super hot!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
