New Girl Season 6 Review

I actually liked the 6th season of New Girl a little more than the 5th. This is the season where Schmidt and Cece buy a house- plus it's their first year as a married couple. We also have a point where soooo many people are living in the loft. Nick, Regan, Jess, Winston, Ally, Cece, Schmidt... that's a lot. Ally might not have really lived there- but I think she did at the end of the season.

And I want to talk about Ally a little more because Winston is my favorite character of the show and I think Ally does a really good job of balancing him out. I just thought the two of them were really funny together and I liked their engagement story a lot. It was all really cute and sweet.

We also see Jess dating Robbie this season- and Robbie is really sweet... but their relationship ended very abruptly for a very good reason and that was really funny too. The Christmas episode of this season is really cute- and it's the last Christmas episode of the show so it's really good. Season 6 was the last full season of the show and I thought it was really great for the last full season. If it had ended at season 6- I think it would have been pretty good. The season finale was really great and everything kind of came full circle. It felt a little bit rushed- but it was still really great.

I'm not sure what my favorite episode of this season was... I like the Christmas Episode, The Hike was good, Rumspringa was great... and I liked the finale a lot... There were a lot of really funny episodes and really great moments. This is also the season where we learn Schmidt's real first name... which is pretty funny too. Not what I expected- but I liked it.

Anyway- I hope you guys like this review! Next week will be the review of the last season and then I'll go on to reviewing the show Dead To Me. Not sure if I'll review both seasons in one review or just review one season at a time... so heads up for that lol.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
