Music Monday: Lizzo Cause I Love You (Super Deluxe)

Alright... so Lizzo is my favorite artist as of late. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned how much I love Lizzo before- but I still haven't done a review on this album and there's just soooo much I can say about it!

So first off... if you ever just need a Love Yourself moment or you just want to smile or dance or something... listen to this album! Lizzo has this beautiful self confidence that she's obviously known for and it really is beautiful. I feel like this album just makes me feel beautiful and I think it can just make you feel good about yourself.

There are a lot of girl power songs on this- but there's also a song called Boys that I think is a great positive song for boys and for men. It reminds me of the song "All The Ladies in The World" from Flight of The Concords- but actually good. It's kind of an underrated song.

So my favorite songs on this album... basically they're all kind of my favorites. I'd pick Tempo as the one song I didn't initially love... but I've kind of grown to love it. The lyrics are kind of funny too. It goes "Slow songs are for skinny **** I'm a thick ***** I need tempo." I'll let you fill in the blanks cause I don't want to cuss.

This Super Deluxe version is my favorite because it includes Good As Hell, Good as Hell remix featuring Ariana Grande and it has Truth Hurts. And Water Me. I really love all those songs. Juice is kind of an underrated song too. That was the first song I heard by Lizzo and I really loved it I thought it had a good beat and everything and I haven't gotten tired of it. I still really love this song!

Overall this is just a fun album that makes me feel Good As Hell. I love listening to it and I don't get tired of it. I would love to see Lizzo in Concert. I love her!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
