Music Monday: Billie Eillish When We All Go To Sleep Where Do We Go

When I first heard Bad Guy- I thought it was a really good song! And then that was the only thing they ever played on the radio and... it was a little much. Still a good song- but they play it soooo much!

Anyway I was excited to listen to the full album. I love her voice and I think her songs kind of have a halloween-ish spooky feel which I really like. It's just a cool album.

I wouldn't say this is "chill" the way I described Harry Styles- but she does kind of have a calming voice. I feel like an album like this is good to listen to while traveling- this is something I probably would have listened to this on the train on my way home from college. She reminds me a bit of Lorde and The Lumineers- who I listened to a lot back then.

I saw a live acoustic performance by Billie and her brother as one of the quarantine specials and she did an amazing job. She's really talented.

So my favorite song on the whole album is "My Strange Addiction" because I'm a huge fan of The Office and she uses sound clips from the episode Threat Level Midnight in the episode. It's a good song to begin with but The Office just makes it way better.

And Billie is also a massive fan of The Office and I think she's now good friends with Rainn Wilson- which is really cool.

Anyway overall this isn't my favorite album ever- there aren't any songs that really stick out but it's a good one to listen to and I really like it. I'm excited to hear more from Billie Eillish.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
