Food Review: The Habit Family Char Meal + Take Out Service

Okay- so I had this a few weeks ago and I thought I would talk about it now. The Habit is a burger place that I think started in California and it came to New Jersey a few years ago. They have really nice Burgers and sandwiches that you can kind of customize to your liking- which I love! A lot of times when I've been there they've gotten something of my order wrong... but who knows if that's true anymore... and it's such small details that it doesn't really matter anyway.

So this Family Char meal they have came out to $33.33 I believe- of corse I can remember a number like that! So this meal comes with 4 Char Burgers, 4 French Fries and a salad. The Char Burger is a typical burger, it has the patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and Mayo. The Mayo is a little bit messy and when I was ordering in the store I'd sometimes ask for no Mayo- but it did taste really really good when I had it. I think it added some good flavor.

The fries were also really good. I've eaten them in store and sometimes they get a little soggy- but this time they were just right.

I had some of the salad too and it was pretty good. I forget if they gave a balsamic vinegrette or oil and vinegar as the dressing... I think it was Balsamic but it had crutons in it and lettuce tomatoes and onions I believe. It wasn't bad and I feel like it's just a bonus on top of everything.

My dad was having a hard time ordering it from the website- so I ordered from DoorDash- it was really easy- they had it ready, bagged up and on an empty table when I got there. Everyone working was wearing a mask and they were pretty far apart from one another. So I thanked them left the tip and went out. It was really easy and they did a great job!

So if I were to rank this with some other burger places... this experience was better than Five Guys and I don't usually get Burgers from Shake Shack... but it would kind of compare to that. I think my favorite burger place is Burger Bros in Marlboro... but this is still really good and I really liked the meal!

Hope you guys like this post!
Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
