June Goals

Alright- so it's a new month and I want to make some goals for the month!

1) Start Running- Lately I've been wanting to start running. I asked my boyfriend last week if he wanted to run with me because I knew that he goes on runs and I feel like I won't start running without someone with me... plus it's a nice date night since we can't really go anywhere.

2) Exercise- I do want to start working out more. I was for a while last month and then I just kind of stopped for no real reason... I want to stay motivated and keep on working out and getting some sort of exercise in.

3) Finish 2 books- Maybe more... 2 seems like a big goal though. Especially since I'll probably be back at work next week if I'm not back already by now. I was reading on my lunch break so I did read for about an hour- but I need to finish The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver and I think the next book I'll be reading will be Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan  or The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I think I'll bring Crazy Rich Asians with me to read at work and I'll read The Hate U Give at home because the book is really big and I don't think I'll be able to carry it at work.

4) Wake Up Earlier- I feel like I've had better days when I wake up earlier- and I can wake up early. The beginning of quarantine I was sleeping in till 2 or so... lately I've been waking up before 10. I kind of want to have a little bit of a morning routine before going to work... so I'd like to be up an hour before the store opens ideally just so I can get some things done. Maybe play some Animal Crossing early in the day... maybe workout or run... I'm not totally sure- but I do want to wake up early so that I can focus more easily when I'm at work.

5) Keep up with my blogs- So... I know this is the hardest part but I think I've found how to carve out time to write blogs and how to keep them consistent. Yesterday I was actually able to write all my blogs for my beauty blog- so that was really good. Today I'm working on this blog so... hopefully I can keep this up!

And that is everything for now. I wanted to start my youtube channel back up... but maybe that's something I can do in July or August... I don't really see myself starting it this month.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
