Throwback Thursday:Recasting 90's Shows- Friends!

Okay... so I know that this will probably never happen in real life... nor do I want it to happen ever... but I just saw Evan Rachel Wood had a picture of her at Central Perk... and it just got me thinking. So I'm looking for actors and actresses in their 20s/30s that I think could work well together!

Joey- Jimmy Tatro

Okay... this one was pretty tough to cast. Originally I had Michael B Jordan in this role... I really like Michael B Jordan and I wanted him in this and I thought the only role he would work for would be Joey... but I think Tatro played a really funny character in American Vandal and in 22 Jump Street... and he would be perfect for Joey. He's really funny.

Chandler- Diego Boneta

Okay... this one was difficult to cast. Originally I thought of Nick Robinson from Love Simon... but he's a little too young for the role. Then I though Michael Cera would be a good Chandler and Diego Boneta could be a good Ross... and then I kind of decided okay... maybe not Michael Cera either... But Diego Boneta is very funny and he's pretty good at impressions... so I think he would be a good Chandler. And he has starred alongside Lea Michele in Scream Queens, although I don't believe they had many scenes together... I still think they would be good together and they would be fun together.

Ross- Skylar Astin

After considering Michael Cera as the lead... I re-thought it and was like "You know... Skylar Astin is a good romantic lead." Plus he has worked with Lea Michele before in the original cast of Spring Awakening- so they would be good as a brother and sister pairing... and I think he's a really good actor and he would be good in a comedy. So- definitely Skylar Astin.

Monica- Lea Michele

Lea Michele is a really funny actress... I think she's kind of underrated. She can have chemistry with just about anyone... and she can do very serious roles and play some kind of uptight characters, as well as being really silly.

Phoebe- Eden Sher

This was the only real obvious pick to me... besides Jimmy Tatro as Joey. The Middle's Eden Sher would be perfect as Phoebe. She looks a little like Phoebe... and I just think she's so funny- she would be totally perfect.

Rachel- Anna Kenderick

Originally- I thought of Sarah Hyland for Rachel... I wanted her in this and I just think she's so funny on Modern Family- and I'd kind of like to see her in a smarter role than her character on Modern Family. But then when I thought of Skylar Astin as Ross... I realized Anna Kenderick would make a great Rachel. And I think Rachel should be a really big star if anyone is... although I would have loved Michael B Jordan to be the star... I think Anna Kenderick is really funny and a good actress. She can play a very nice, grounded character- but I think she plays edgy and pissed off really well too... so I feel like she can capture all the sides of Rachel.

This was just really fun and I thought it's fun to think about even though this is something I would never really want to see happen. I might do this with other movies too- so let me know if you like this

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...

September 2015: It List

Now that I do weekly favorites, I feel like these will be less surprising... but still. Some good things. 1) Pumpkin Spice Lattes- Its the most wonderful latte of the year! Lol. All the yes. Soooo much yes. Its so creamy and pumpkiny and delicious. It was what has been missing from my life for a long time and now its back and I think they get more and more delicious every year. And I know last year people were like "pumpkin spice isn't cool anymore." Have you had any? It is delicious!!!! I'm a big fan of the PSL. 2) Arrow- I've been wanting to watch this show for a while. The guy that plays Oliver is not only hot, but he was really funny and good on a talk show I saw him on... so that made me like "ohh I need to watch this." I'm also not super into comic books or anything, but I do like Batman and DC movies at least more than anything else and I didn't really realize that there were so many tv shows in the DC universe right now. There are a f...
