Jane The Virgin's "Shocking" Season Finale- Thoughts, Theories and Spoilers!

Okay- so if you haven't seen the Season Finale of Jane The Virgin, I would suggest you click away because I'm going to spoil the end for you in a little bit.

Before I get into the ending... I'm just going to talk about each individual story... just to kind of set you up.

So the one we got kind of an ending on was River Fields (played by Brook Shields... get it?) staying with Rogelio and Xo to "get to know him" better so that they can play a better husband and wife. She's super annoying to live with and Xo tries telling Rogelio to calm down and be nice to her... but she kind of reaches her limit when River doesn't understand why Rogelio cares so much about Alba's Citizenship party... and Xo says it's because Rogelio will do anything for his family... and then everything ends up okay there.

Okay so Alba's Citizenship Party is what everyone is obsessing over in the episode. Alba just passed her Citizenship test and Jane wants to throw her a surprise party, but doesn't know if she should invite Jorge- because Jorge and Alba were in a relationship- but they broke up... and things were kind of weird between them. Jorge was going to throw a little "toast" for Alba at the store... but Jane told him she was having a party and invited him to it. Alba wanted to check on him because he said he was sick and Jane ended up telling her about the surprise party... and then Alba talked to Jorge- who wanted to visit his dying mother in Mexico- but because he was undocumented, he knew if he left he couldn't come back... so he ended up marrying Alba- who is hoping Jorge will end up falling for her.

Petra and JR were sooo happy together... and JR even babysat the twins for Petra... and then she discovered that it really was Petra that killed her sister because one of the girls shoes fell while playing dress up in Petra's clothes. Petra only did it because Anezka threatened her daughters... but Jane was obviously mad and she left Petra. Then she got a call from Krishna saying that it wasn't Krishna that blackmailed her- but someone else- so JR went back upstairs to find some mystery person in the room with Petra and JR shot them. I kind of liked this ending because there's some mystery there- Petra has a lot of enemies... but also it ended well with JR saving Petra... so that was interesting.

The big ending was with Jane and Rafael. Rafael was going to propose to Jane... but then he met with Rose aka Sin Rostro who had a big secret to tell him... Rafael thought it was about his parents... but Rafael never said anything to Jane. He barely talked to her about it... they just assured each other that they still love each other and that no matter what it was- she loved him... and he was extra affectionate to her... but he wouldn't tell her what it was. And I knew what the ending would be... but I had a few different theories... so I'll tell you guys those.

A) Michael is still alive. This one seems like the most obvious because it's not quite that heartbreaking... it would explain Rafael being particularly affectionate to Jane knowing that they would probably not be together much longer... and it explains why Raf never ended up proposing.

B) Rafael is her brother! Unlikely- but that's what they would do on a telenovela... which Jane and Alba talked about... but if Raf was that affectionate to Jane after finding out she's his sister...there's something wrong with him. Plus they have a son together already... ick.

C) Mateo isn't really their child. Sin Rostro kidnapped him as a baby and they could have given Jane and Rafael someone else's baby... and Rafael would really be crushed by this because he would never be able to have another baby with Jane... plus he doesn't know who his parents are- so knowing that their son is out there and this boy that they've been raising doesn't know his parents would be quite heartbreaking.

... so While I don't think B and C are totally out of the picture... A is the one that happened. Michael was back at Rafael's apartment when he brought Jane there... and that was that.

But here's the thing... is it really even Michael? Sin Rostro is known to have an operation where she gives people plastic surgery to alter their appearance. It could be anyone... and that would be a pretty good twist!

Another good twist would be Jane getting back together with Michael, saying that she has a funny feeling that Michael isn't really Michael... she gives her reasonings for thinking that this is a fake Michael... but then it is proven that it's the real Michael and that things between Michael and Jane have just changed between the two of them and they have to work through that.

BUT THEN SHE FINDS OUT ITS NOT HIM AND RAFAEL HAS ALREADY MOVED ON! Oooo!

I don't know... but I think it would be a missed opportunity to not include that in the storyline. I think next season is the final season of the show- so I'd like to see a lot of twists... but also a wrap up in the storylines.

Other things I think might happen next season: Alba and Jorge get back together. Maybe Alba even has sex with him- even if they aren't really married in the eyes of God... and I think Alba might have some issues with that... but Jane and Xo will help her deal with it.

Rogelio might be more excited than Jane at Michael still being alive! That's a definite.

I think Xo will recover... but I think she'll have an emotional conversation with Rogelio telling him to move on if she passes... and maybe suggesting River. I just think there's a lot of emotions between Rogelio and Xo and they're both so good together I'd like to see them kind of face this challenge and come out stronger.

I think Petra and JR might stay together... I think maybe Milos or the guy from The Fairwick. Maybe even the woman Rafael was seeing at the start of the season... I don't know. Could be a lot of people. But it's someone she's surprised by.

And I think the Narrator of the show is Mateo all grown up... that would make sense. There was something in the last season finale that made me think that.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
