So I think I'm going to challenge myself to watching 1 movie every week. Why? I was reading entertainment weekly and they weighed in on the Oscars controversy saying that they didn't quite think that a lot of the older, male voters would watch "Straight Outta Compton" because "It wasn't really their type of movie." My Grandfather is 85 years old and he saw Straight Outta Compton and liked it, even though it isn't really "his type of movie." He goes to the movies every week with my uncle and they'll see whatever's playing... not just what's interested... and I figure if they can do it, I can do it and the Academy should be able to do it as well. I'm not going to actually go to the theaters to do it, I'm just going to see whats on TV or things that I haven't seen that I own on DVD or something and watch it. If its a movie I've seen before and can remember... for the time being I'm probably not going to includ...

Hello and Happy Memorial Day everyone! Remember to take some time to remember what is important on this day... and not just the sales, cookouts, and movies. 5) Neighbors 2- I kind of want to see this movie. I didn't see the first Neighbors... but I wouldn't mind seeing it or this new one. These don't look like the funniest movies ever... but it looks funny and I like it. I like the looks of it at least lol. I'm good with Zach Effron. I can handle some Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen... all funny people... seems like a funny enough movie! 4) Captain America: Civil War- I've talked about this before... I want to get more into the Marvel things... but its going to take some time. Lol. I also don't really like Iron Man... but I like the Avengers... so idk! We'll see. 3) The Angry Birds Movie- This movie looks bad. I feel bad saying it because I know animated movies are hard work and a lot of good people are voices in this movie and I'm sure its a great kids ...

This is a fun week filled with love and happiness! My sister got married last Sunday and my parents celebrate their anniversary today!  Favorites  Jane The Virgin- I finished this season of Jane The Virgin and I thought it was really good! I liked the end with the surprises... I hope Michael is okay and Jane is okay... I think they're going to make him paralyzed so that he and Jane can't have sex... which is sad. But... good tv? Maybe? Idk. Lol. Or he'll only remember being broken up with Jane and resent her.  Pinot's Palette- What a great place to hang out! I already did a whole review on my experience there and I showed my painting and stuff there... but yeah. Its a lot of fun! So I originally started blogging to tell the fun things I did that day... or the day before... so I might get back to that a little bit lol. So my friend wanted to go to Pinot's palette for her bday party and it was really fun! I heard about the place a few months ago and it looked like a really fun place, but I was excited to actually go and see what it was like. The painting we were doing was supposed to be a dandelion with the seeds blowing away and birds flying next to it... and here's what it looked like. I liked the colors... mine came out a lot different than it was supposed to... but I liked it a lot! It was supposed to be open... but I like it closed lol. I have it hanging on my wall right now.  They give a really good step by step guide to tell you what to do. I'm to very artistic at all... but I was surprised that it was so easy and that it came out pretty! I like it a lot actually and I think its cool that you get a work of art to put on your wall...

So this is just going to be a quick post tonight... but remember how I said I loved Latergramme a lot and I loved using it, it was so fun blah blah blah... and I loved it... and it is a good app... but there's one reason I decided not to keep the app on my phone. It limits the amount of posts you can schedule in a month for the free version... and I don't like that. Its just not worth it for me to sign up or pay for it so I just deleted it... Idk if I want to try any other app... I have a feeling they'll all have the same problem... so I'll just have to kind of wing it myself and post when I post. So I thought this would be a fun idea... but my first post is kind of boring and idk if I understand it... so yeah. Maybe this isn't a fun Idea. So my very first post was on October 22nd 2013... and here it is! " Sooo this is my blog... it's new and to be quite honest idk what it's all going to be about yet... I guess I'll figure that out. There will probably be a little bit of everything on here. I'm going to try to post as often as I can, but I want everything to be a good quality post, so if I do nothing one day idk if I'll post that day. The title is a work in progress... but then again so is everything in life. Maybe that will be my title. Idk. I don't want to change my name every 5 seconds, but until I find something that screams SHANNON (btw my name is Shannon) it's going to be whatever the hell I just named it (it's already too long for me to remember... ugh) Anyway... enough about that. So I love scheduling my posts on here... and I really wanted to do that for instagram also... but there isn't a way to do that right now... but there are some apps that will give you reminders so that you can post them yourself. There are some pros and cons to this app...but yeah. Pros  -So easy to use. I thought it was going to be really hard to use... but it was actually super easy to figure out. - You can put a filter on instagram when you go to post it. It doesn't allow it in the app itself, but its easy enough to do on your own. -It's free! So that's a plus. -They ask for emails and say "We don't like spam and you probably don't either." And I trust them. Haven't had this app long... but I haven't gotten any emails yet, so thats good. - Just convient to have a scheduled time for your posts. Probably useful if you have a giveaway or one you want to enter daily. Lol. Cons  - Doesn't automatically copy the text if you write that...

So I feel like I just figured out why the internet was invented and I thank whoever there is to thank for this for its existence right now because I feel like this is a major discovery. So... there are many reasons to use the internet. Today I looked up the meaning of a word because my grandmother couldn't find it in the dictionary... which is a whole story... I looked up trivia about The King of Queens and I even almost watched a few episodes... I looked up the review of Zoolander 2... I posted some useful blogs... I did some good things on the internet today and thats pretty cool. But for whatever reason, the song "Feelin hot hot hot" got stuck in my head... keep in mind (cause I may be posting this in May) It is February 12th... really its February 11th cause its only 1:48 here... so its like just Feb 12 in this part of the world... But yeah. Feelin Hot Hot Hot was stuck in my head. Also I was thinking that cartoon cats are adorable. Real cats, even more adorable...

Sooo this is going to be a crazy month... here are some favorites! 1) Nick Jonas- Slightly Embarrassing... but yes. Nick Jonas tops the list. Idk why... I have a crush on him out of nowhere... and I think he's just a cool dude. I like his music, I've been listening to it a lot lately... and he's pretty hot. I'm excited for him on James Corden! I'm not even going to go into a lot of detail on this because its embarrassing. But yeah. 2) DNCE- Now from Nick Jonas to Joe Jonas... I was never into The Jonas Brothers... till now lol. DNCE is a great band, kinda reminds me of Cobra Starship... Kinda wish they had more songs than the 6... but I like them a lot. I did a review on their EP CD thingy... Early weekly wrap up this week! Here we go! Favorites  The Four Agreements- This was a good book that I read for a book club that I'm in. It was the first book and its just very calming. If you've got a lot on your mind... just read it and you might get something from it. It's a good book to have. So I got these chips with the long name I'm not sure I got right... courtesy of Influesnter and the Sprout voxbox... so I figured I'd better review them because thats why they sent it to me cause thats what influenster does. This is really nice on its own. I didn't try it with salsa... but there is sooo much flavor on its own that you don't really need salsa with it. I think Salsa would taste really good with this... but these are so yummy and spicy that I just love it! It doesn't taste too spicy at first, but after a few chips it gets really nice and spicy. I just really like it its spicy and unique. And its pretty healthy too. There are no ingredients you can't pronounce and there are 140 calories per 13 chips and only 50 calories from fat... so that's not bad!  The thing is you'll want to eat more than 13 chips cause they're so good... but yeah. I would rank these on par with Cool Ranch Doritos. In fact, if these are more readily available...

Alright so before you're like "Ohhh my gosh. Shannon I didn't know you did fights!" No. I'm not a fighter... but I was 6... and it was justified. Lol. So I was in Kindergarten and my teacher moved me next to this kid that was very hyper. Which is fine, most kindergartners are... but he was more so than the rest of the class. When he wasn't sitting right across from me... fine. But when he was right across from me... I was not a happy 6 year old. Lol. So he would keep going like he was pretending to punch me and he wouldn't punch me. And I said "Could you please not do that. It's bothering me." Or maybe something meaner... I don't remember... I was 6 and I am now 24... so yeah. I'm biased to agree with what I did because I'm me. Lol. So then he said "If it bugs you so much why don't you just punch me." So I punched him. And you know what he did? That asshole told the teacher "Teacher, Shannon punched me....

So... this was kind of a funny one... and I don't mean to diss anyone, the person that said this to me is a nice and good person... but you can't say "My Poop Doesn't Smell" and not have me poke fun at it because... its poop. Poop is smelly first of all... but even if it isn't smelly... its still poop. You aren't suddenly a model or a rock star because your poop doesn't smell... your still just a person that poops. And its okay, everyone poops... but come on. Just own it. So I don't mean to insult anyone that doesn't have smelly poop... I'm sure lots of people don't think their poop smells and maybe it doesn't... I don't know... but that is a ridiculous thing to say to people. And she said it in an innocent way that wasn't like "Ohhh I'm so cool my poop doesn't even stink." But this person is kind of someone that will one-up you in pretty much anything... and its hard to be friends with someone that says ...

So... I was thinking about someone that annoyed me recently... and I thought yeah. I'll just do a post on this. Keep in mind... I get mad at tiny things... so the first one on the list is very maddening... and I've been told its slightly irrational... but it still bothers me. Lol. Happy Monday AKA Chart Chat Day! 5) Mother's Day- My grandfather and uncle saw this movie and said it was really good! Its getting terrible reviews, I have a love hate relationship with those movies with more than one story and a lot of famous people on for a few minutes... but I'll see it! 4) The Darkness- No idea what this one is... I think its a scary movie that sounds bad... idk. I'll probably watch it on Netflix when I'm in the mood for a horror movie... but otherwise I'm not gonna go out of my way to look up whatever this nonsense is. Lol. 3) Money Monster- I thought this came out a long time ago but it didn't! Its directed by Jody Foster who is an excellent director, she directed on OITNB and I loved it... so this is going to be an awesome movie. Favorites  Crazy Ex Girlfriend- I love this show. I was catching up and I really have fun watching this and bingewatching it. Its one of those shows I could watch over and over again... and I just like it. I think there have been some fun twists lately... and its a great show! Nick Jonas- This Nick Jonas obsession has got to stop... but its not going anywhere. Lol. I love the song Close... he came out with a new video for the song Chainsaw this week... he's a talented and super hot guy... so yeah. Snapchat- I've been loving snapchat lately! I think I've mentioned this a few times recently... but I love snapchat, its fun. I'm not going to give my snapchat on here... but yeah. Snippets from the week  -Sunday Monday and Tuesday were weird... Nothing big... but all weird. Mothers day was nice other events were a little weird. - I went to K Mart one day this week. That was fun... kinda sorta lol. It wasn't great. But yeah. - I went to lunch a few time...

I figured I'd just do a little mashup of some small stuff you may not think of for weddings... so yeah. Hiding The Dress From The Groom  My sister didn't mind other people seeing her dress before the wedding, but she didn't want the groom to see it and he didn't want to see it either. This was difficult because we live in a digital age... and Right when her dress came in, the Facebook app changed and was asking if you wanted to add photos from your camera roll directly to Facebook... so that was a risk. Just be very careful with that!  The Bathrooms  So in the bathroom at the wedding, usually they include things like hair ties, advil, other things you might need... the women's room is probably more filled than the mens room... but yeah. Spray on deodorant is useful, a body spray... stuff like that. I used Advil at a friends wedding because I had a really bad headache... so it is very appreciated!  Bridesmaid Hairstyles  I like Emma Watson'...

I've been having a lot of really vivid dreams lately... and idk what it is... but I'm going to share some of the more fun ones here. Oscar Winners  So I had a dream that I was a 3 time Academy Award winner... and it was something I totally forgot about until I found my Oscars in my room. 2 were smaller ones and one was a big one for Best Adapted Screenplay. They had these for college films and I guess thats how I got the oscars because I was like "ohhh yeah. Those are the Oscars I won in college. So happy I don't have to deal with all this hollywood crap now." And then I woke up wondering where my oscars are... and realized nope. No oscars here. I Burnt My Hand  So in this dream it was my dad's friends birthday or something I guess and we were figuring out if our culinary torch worked and for whatever reason I tested it out by holding it right up to my hand and of corse it didn't work and I couldn't turn it on so I just sat there with my hand bur...

So these new M&Ms are delicious! They are crispy and smores flavored and really nice! Smores  I think these really get the nice flavor of the smores.... but still M&Ms-y...and just overall super yummy. The graham cracker-yness of the smores-y and they just taste really good and chocolatey! And I love smores and Crispy M&Ms so... this is a great combo. My mom thought they tasted like something other than Smores... idk. The Marshmallow flavor isn't really there so they just kind of like my favorite snack "Shannon's Lazy Girl S'mores" which I love. Its just smores without the marshmallow... and thats what it tastes like! Its very sweet... like I just ate a bunch of these at once and its just really great and chocolatey... I just like it a lot. Lol. So yeah... I recommend these. I really like them and I'm going to try the "Voting" m&ms from the contest and see which one I'm voting for! Coffee Nut  Ugh... didn't love ...

Figured I'd do another trailer review cause I love Daniel Radcliffe... and I wanted to see how weird this Swisss Army Man trailer was... Swiss Army Man Trailer - This is kinda weird... its a little more normal than I expected to be honest. So Daniel Radcliffe plays a dead guy... and Paul Dano uses his flatulence as a propellor to get him to land... and then he continues being a useful tool for Dano's character I guess. His penis is a compass or something... it sounds like a pretty weird movie... totally want to watch it! The BFG - I always think BFG stands for Big Effing Giant... and then remember its a kids book so its not Effing... its friendly. So now I guess I'll just say Friendly instead of Effing. Lol. Bill Hader is in this... I kinda have a crush on him... so that's cool. I feel like I'm a little old for this one. It looks great, if you have young kids, totally seems like a fun family movie... but probably not for me! The Legend of Tarzan  So I kinda ...

So in January I went to the eye doctors to pick up glasses and some mild hilarity ensued. I mentioned this in a weekly wrap up back in January... and I figured I'd save the story till May because why not! I'm giving myself the month of May off Anyway so picking up glasses that you've already paid for doesn't take a very long time usually... but there was this teenage boy in front of us taking FOREVER to decide what glasses he wants. This never happens at my eye doctors because the woman working at the glasses counter is the absolute best! She looks at you, gets an idea of what you like and picks out the pair you will fall in love with on the first try. She's super amazing with that... and I'm indecisive on things... especially things I'm going to wear on my face... but she just gets peoples styles and chooses the perfect pair right away. But yeah this kid... btw a teenage boy who was probably going to lose that pair of glasses a week after getting them.....

Alrighty Mother's day weekend... lets see what everyone was watching! 5) Keanu- This is what my mom and I saw... not for Mothers day... but in general. Lol. I loved this movie, I reviewed it. I'm really happy for Key and Peele for making this movie. It was really a great movie! One of my favorites I've seen this year... and I just really liked it a lot! 4) The Huntsman: Winter's War- I don't know about this one. I didn't like the first snow white and the huntsman movie... and this doesn't look any better. Its just not good. Lol. I'm a little over the fairy tale thing... but it just isn't my thing... so yeah. Probably won't see this. I like to be hopeful and go "maybe when its on tv" but I won't. Its fine. Lol. 3) Mother's Day- I hate the movies with a bunch of stars and a lot of different storylines... but I'm also a little obsessed with them... so yeah. I'll see this movie at some point in my life... I'm sure ...

Favorites  Nick Jonas- Idk why I suddenly have a crush on Nick Jonas... well okay I kinda know. He reminds me a lot of Gabe Saporta. His singing kind of sounds like him... but also he's hot, and funny. He was good on Scream Queens. I love DNCE and his regular songs too... he just seems like a sweet guy. I was never really a Jonas Brothers fan... but I love Nick Jonas's songs. And he's super hot. And seems like he likes girls that are a little older... so call me. Lol. Okay scratch that... DNCE is Joe Jonas not Nick... lol. So I guess I'm attracted to 2 Jonas Brothers... but Nick Jonas is still my fave. Hamilton Soundtrack- Back at it again with listening to Hamilton! This was kind of an accident, I plugged in my phone to my moms car, and then it played the hamilton soundtrack! So that was fun. My mom had fun listening to it for the first time... and I liked listening to it again. I saw a book about Aaron Burr at Barnes and Noble and I think I'm going to pick it...

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt is one of the most clever shows with some of the best characters. I love watching it, I bingewatch it... its awesome. And Season 2 just as good, if not better than Season one. Here are some of what made it awesome: (spoilers) Kimmy's Therapist(s) played by Tina Fey... perfect! Andrea (ahn-dray-uh) and Andrea (anne-dreee-uh) Aka Day Andrea and Night Andrea... so funny. I thought that was a really funny concept, its only fitting that someone with as many problems as Kimmy is the one that treats her. And that Kimmy tries to help her, but she can't. I thought Tina Fey did a great job with that. Another great character was played by Amy Sedaris! I forget what her name was, but she's Jacklyn's other divorced friend thats even more messed up than Jacklyn. One of her lines was my favorites of the season. Kimmy asked where everyone was and she said "Jacklyn and the old lady went to the movies and the black guy is dead." That made me lau...

Sorry for the slight absence recently... I might not post all that frequently this month... sorry. But anyway there was a new frappuccino at starbucks and if you like the Caramel Frap you'll love the Caramel Waffle Cone frap. You know why? It's exactly the same! Lol. So its just a regular Caramel frap, but there are some waffle cone pieces on top of the whipped cream with some caramel. And sure, you don't really get that flavor unless you eat it with your straw or spoon it out after... so the top is just a little different... I think thats great. It just makes it taste a little more ice cream-y and I love coffee ice cream and cones and caramel...so it all works for me. I think this is only limited edition at select Starbucks locations. It isn't the most exciting flavor they've come up with... but sometimes you just need an old fashioned favorite with a little bit of a twist on it. If you wanted to do it yourself, just get a caramel frap crush a waffle cone and...

So Mother's day is coming up... here are some gifts you could get... they might not be the most "Last minute" gifts... but I don't think mom would mind getting them a few days late. Lol. Idk. If you order something online like the Hydroflask... which I mentioned yesterday... I think she'll get it. So let's start with that! I reviewed the  hydroflask  yesterday and I think that's a great gift! If your mom is into fitness, or even just drinks a lot of water or wants to drink a lot of water, this is a great gift. You can fill it up and drink it all throughout the day. Its really nice, it keeps the water cool on the inside and its really great. Highly recommend! Another fitness-y thing you could get mom... even if your mom doesn't go to the gym or do any fitness-y things... the Fitbit. My mom does a lot and a lot of the time she walks most of the day... and she didn't really know that she walked that much! And now she has so much fun with the compe...

I use this pretty much every day and I thought "Hey... why not review that." So if you were thinking of buying one of these... hopefully this helps. I've had this water bottle... forever pretty much and as I said, I use it pretty much every day. It holds 24 ounces of water and because it is Stainless Steel, it keeps the water cold on the inside. And it'll keep it cold for a really long time too. I'd say it stays pretty cool for a day at least. Its really good that way. It also does dent if you drop it. It won't break or anything, it just puts a dent in the bottle... so if that bothers you, then you might not like it. Doesn't really bother me. I'm not looking for the most beautiful water bottle ever... I just want it to get the job done. The lid is slightly hard to open. It's a twist off, so it isn't the most difficult... but sometimes when I have this in the gym I drop the lid on the floor... so that gets a tiny bit annoying... but it doe...

Favorites  Keanu- I saw the movie Keanu this week and I loved it! Great movie, really funny and clever. I did a review yesterday if you'd like to read it... but yeah. Its great! Do Recommend! Comedy Bang Bang- I've been catching up on Comedy Bang Bang the podcast again and I really like it! Its such a funny show, idk why I haven't listened to it in so long... but its great and I recommend it a lot! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt- One of my favorite shows... I finished watching it this week and I want to watch it again. The ending was great and I just really like the show! I'll have a review on that Tuesday I believe.
