Things To Be Excited About This Fall! 2020

Alright... so maybe this fall won't be as exciting as other falls... but I feel like that will give us more to be excited about and more to do. Maybe we won't get to see all the excited Horror Movies that were supposed to come out- but we can stay home and watch our favorites or some that we've maybe missed. Maybe trick or treating will be different- but I think it can still be done in a socially distant way. I'm sure there are a lot of things to enjoy this fall that will be the same as other years.

One thing I would love to do that I'm pretty sure will be very safe if it is open is pumpkin picking and apple picking... and I think I would like to do that this year. I would also be excited to paint pumpkins and make a recipe with the apples. If I do go pumpkin or apple picking lol.

There's also this cider drink that my dad made last year. We got Delicious Orchards apple cider... which is the best Apple Cider and we used Smirnoff Caramel Vodka with it and it tasted really good. They actually tried it at a restaurant they like called Bahrs but... it tasted really good when we made it at home too. I think we even got fancy and rimmed the glass with Cinnamon Sugar. So so good!

I like wearing Flannel! I'm really excited to start wearing it- it's been getting a little chilly here and since Outdoor dining has been our only option and they aren't resuming indoor dining till Friday... which I'm excited about but I still might choose to eat outside at some places. It's nice. But yeah Flannel is a really fun and cute thing to wear in the fall. Not totally sure I pull it off... but I wear it anyway.

Fall Fashion in general is my favorite. I love those nice, warm colors. I just think they're really pretty. I'm excited for my Style Saturday's.

I'm also trying to find a good pair of boots to wear. I bought a pair from target... but they're heels and I'm going to have to return them cause I can't walk in them comfortably.

I'm excited for a new season in Animal Crossing! Particularly seeing how the season looks in the game... Plus all of the mushroom crafting. I haven't played for a few weeks but I have a feeling I will be playing every day now. Especially with the rumored updates... it just sounds really good.

Also I think I'm going to start reading horror books and Harry Potter for halloween. My coworker lent me a horror book of hers and I need to finish that... but there are also a lot more books I want to read. Grady Hendrix, Stephen King... so many books actually that I need to read. I'm excited.

And TV too. I don't know if many shows will be back... but I know they have the second season of The Haunting of Hill House... I also need to watch the first season... but I think that will be a fun, spooky show. Plus the Bachelorette is going to be back and idk about that one. From the sounds of it they should call it The Bachelorette:  Sloppy Seconds Edition... but it might be good.

I'm also excited for my birthday! I actually took off that week from work so I'm excited for a little vacation- I probably won't go anywhere but I'll probably do a lot!

And... yeah that's about it. It's September 1st- the start of the first month of fall... and I'm ready for it!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
