Weekly Wrap Up: 9.6.20

Alright! The post I usually forget about... Weekly Wrap Up! Hope you guys like it!

Favorites

Parasite- I finally watched the movie Parasite and OMG! Can't believe it took me that long to see it... but I finally did and it is amazing! I love it! I did one review and I will probably have a bigger spoiler review soon... I still want to watch the movie again before I do that but... it was really good. Not as scary as I thought it was going to be!

Happy Endings- This is a TV Show I've recently bought on DVD and I talked about it yesterday. I've been watching it a lot lately and it's really good and really funny! I am going to talk more about this on my Saturday blogs!

Bang by AJR- So my mom heard this song on the radio and... it's really really good! I just like it a lot! It's really good and catchy! I've only heard it once... but it's really great!

Life Scribbles

This was a sad week for me. My dog went to the vet and we found out that he has an enlarged heart which is leading to heart failure. He had to stay one day overnight at the animal hospital and he's back home now and seems to be doing better... but we still have to give him a lot of medicine and keep him calm.

Other than that I actually saw my friends this week for the first time in FOREVER! I gave them their christmas presents and birthday presents and I made them birthday cards... it was fun!

Noteworthy Snacks

I've been loving microwave popcorn lately. I put some candy in it sometimes. It's been good!

I know there were other snacks and foods I've eaten recently but... I can't remember them right now lol.

TV Highlights

I watched an episode of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist- the pilot episode actually... and I really liked it! It made me cry- it was really good though.

And my mom has been watching Broadchurch on Netflix... I've caught a few minutes of a few episodes and it's really good.

And I watched Fancy Nancy with my niece... which she said is her favorite show to watch at Ma and Poppa's house... even though we haven't really watched it in a while. There was an episode about a butterfly and she really likes butterflies- so yeah! That was fun to watch with her.

Thoughts

Be grateful for right now. Don't not concentrate on your future... but be happy for what you have at this moment right now.

Bye!

-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
