September 2020 It List!

Alright... here's my It List for the month of September! I haven't done this in a while... but I already know I have some faves!

1) Happy Endings- So this is a show that ended a few years ago... and it only lasted 3 seasons but it's such a funny show that I'm really excited that I now own it. I just finished watching it... they also have a reunion on youtube that I watched that was really funny- it was a skype call... it's such a funny show and it's one I can watch again and again even though it's so short. Really like this one!

2) Atlanta- Omg... this is such a good show. It's just very silly. You see Donald Glover play a man that's just trying to make some money for his family and he ends up becoming a manager for his cousin who is a a rapper named Paper Boi- who sings a song called Paper Boi... that you will get stuck in your head. There's a really funny episode of Paper Boi on a Public Access show- there's an episode about a Juneteenth party that is weird... it's just a really funny, silly show. I can't wait to review that one!

3) Parasite- I can't stop thinking about this movie! I need to watch it again like... right now. I want to do another Movie Monday on this in a Spoiler sense because there is a spoiler about midway through the film that I don't want to talk about without people knowing its a spoiler. I really think it's more effective if you don't know.

4) Bath and Body Works- This is my happy place! I love shopping from Bath and Body works and using my favorite bath and body works products. Plus Fall is my favorite time to buy my favorite scents... so it's win win!

5) Pumpkin Spice Latte- Yes. This is amazing.

6) Dr. Teals Sleep Bath with Melatonin- I love using this after work. It relaxes me and it makes my bones and muscles feel a little bit better after work.

7) Free People Clothing- I've gotten quite a few Free People items from the store I work at and they are just my favorite for Fall... I have an addiction that I should quit.

8) Target Clothing- I've talked about Universal Thread. And I just love all their clothes. I've gotten so much cute stuff lately!

That is everything. I'm going to go to bed now.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
