TV BREAKDOWN THURSDAY-Rachel's Love Interests: Crushes

Alright so I recently mentioned that all of the Friends kind of have their own common behaviors when it comes to their love interests.

Rachel in particular get's very girlish crushes on the guys she's interested in and it goes unrequited for a while- but then eventually they end up falling in love with Rachel and dating her for at least a little bit.

So in Season 1- Rachel dates Paolo. Right away she just goes for it with him and they end up together until he tries to cheat on her with Phoebe. Rachel also sleeps with Barry- who cheated on her with her best friend Mindy and she leaves him at the alter not because of the cheating... but because she was bored by Barry and knew that she couldn't spend the rest of her life with him. He is engaged to Mindy when Barry sleeps with Rachel.

Season 2- Rachel finds out that Ross was in love with her the whole time he's known her... and she begins to have feelings for him... and quickly finds out that he's moved on with another scientist he reconnects with in China. They end up dating by the end of the season- but we get some unrequited love from Rachel and she complains about Ross's girlfriend Julie a lot before she finally gets together with ross.

Season 3-Rachel dates and breaks up with Ross. Who cheats on her- even if they were "on a break" Ross knew what he did was wrong.

Season 4- We get a bit of a crush here and a thing with ross. First off Rachel gets a crush on a man named Joshua who she shops for at Bloomingdale's just as she was about to quit for hating her job there. Rachel doesn't think Joshua even notices her at first- but when she finally tells Joshua she has a crush on him... he admits the only reason why he kept going back to Bloomingdale's was for Rachel. Awww.

They eventually break up because Rachel gets jealous of Ross's speedy engagement to Emily and suggests she and Joshua get married... when Joshua's divorce isn't even final and they haven't even said I love you to each other. In the finale- she realizes that she isn't over Ross and goes to London to tell Ross she loves him right before he gets married.

Season 5- Rachel eventually tells Ross she loves him... but then laughs it off thinking it sounds ridiculous when she says it out loud.

Then she has a little crush on Danny- a man that was on some sort of expedition or something and looks like a Yeti- but then shaves and goes on a date with Rachel... but then I guess she gets insecure because he's talking to other girls or something and she pretends to be doing other more interesting things instead of just going out with him again. She does eventually go out on another date with him... but he has a creepy relationship with his sister that Rachel just can't handle.

And then somehow Rachel and Ross get married in the finale of this season.

Season 6- Rachel divorces Ross... and it's revealed that she was the one that suggested getting married in the first place because she thought it would be funny.

Season 7- Rachel gets back together with Ross briefly before Monica and Chandler's engagement party. And then she hires a really cute assistant that she ends up getting a crush on... who ends up being attracted to Phoebe- he then gets back together with his girlfriend from Ohio... and then he breaks up with her and finds out Rachel likes him and they get together.

Season 8- Rachel has Ross's baby and dating is kind of put on hold for her... but Joey gets a crush on her. There are also a bunch of moments where she and Ross are kind of a couple... so I guess Ross is sort of Rachel's crush of the season.

Season 9- Rachel has a crush on Joey- who is dating Charlie... who Rachel ends up not liking- just like with Julie.

Season 10- Joey and Rachel end up together- but break up because they are too good of friends. And in the finale Rachel tells Ross that she can't say goodbye to him because he means more to her than anyone else and sleeps with him right before leaving for Paris... which she believes is the perfect way to say goodbye... but then gets off the plane because of him.

Sooo what do all of these mean? I feel like Rachel couldn't really develop feelings more than a crush because this whole time she still loved Ross. And she knew she loved Ross. That's why none of these relationships ever really worked and were nothing more than crushes. It's not easy to actually fall in love when the person you've loved for years is still someone you see every day!

So yeah! I think that is everything! Hope you guys like it!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
