The Day Off Chronicles. 9.22.20

So... I thought I'd write about my day today. I kind of want to get back to my youtube channel and do "Day Off Vlogs" but... I thought I would do a day off chronicles here today because... "Today is one of those days" as my niece said today.

So yeah I woke up around 10 or so... my mom told me to get up because I was going with her to pick up my niece from school and then we were going to my grandmother's house and we were planning on having a little pizza party at her house. There was a problem though... Our Pizza Place is closed on Tuesdays currently! So we ended up going to Chilli's. We took out some Classic Nachos, the Southwest Eggrolls... which I don't like... and some chips and salsa. It was all pretty good! I love Chilli's!

Then I had a foot doctor appointment and the toenail I lost a few months ago is growing back nicely! Yayy and Eww! Sorry TMI but I'm super happy with how it is growing and I want to keep it that way!

Anyway after that my sister came over to the house to pick up my niece and she saw someone post that she found Lysol. It's my grandmother's 90th birthday tomorrow and she uses Lysol for EVERYTHING and it's been really hard to get for her now so we bought a couple of cans for her. She's going to be so excited tomorrow lol.

And my niece was mostly good today and well behaved but she did get a little wild and... there was a lot of chaos in the house. She was jumping on the couch and my sister and I were trying to get her to stop and she got mad at us and she said "NO I WANT TO BE MAD. YOU ATE MY LITTLE DAY!" I guess she didn't know how to say "ruined" so she said "ate" which was cute. She forgave us a few minutes later and was laughing and playing again.

And after she left my mom and I went to the Outlet mall by us. This isn't a place I've really loved going to a lot during the pandemic because... there are so many people not wearing their masks or not keeping them on outside... which sucks. But I went to the Converse store- ended up getting a pair of Mint Green High Tops for $16 which was awesome. And then I got some Vera Bradley face masks- which are great. Super comfortable and pretty!

The funny thing that happened at the outlets was the obnoxious woman at Starbucks... I guess most people there were obnoxious because I walked in and no one told me they were in line or they were just waiting... so there was no line I was just waiting for no reason... and then I just asked some lady if she ordered and she said yes and so then I figured out where the line was and waited there. Then some lady with 2 loud malteses walks in. I was trying to get in the store before she got in there because... I didn't want her to get in front of me in line... and then she asked some other lady that I wasn't trying to cut to hold the door open for her so that she could bring her dogs in their strollers inside... which is fine but... dogs aren't allowed in Starbucks because they can't drink coffee lol. Only service dogs were allowed at that location. Not only that- but the woman left the stroller with the two dogs in the corner of Starbucks by themselves. While they were barking very loudly and the stroller was moving so... like the dogs could have bit someone. They told her the dogs weren't allowed... but... she still said "I'm just placing an order" so... she ordered and then stepped outside with her dogs. And she still got in line ahead of me somehow. And then someone was pulling down their mask and using one of the napkins as a tissue and blowing her nose... A LOT. Which... 1) do outside 2) STAY HOME IF YOU FEEL LIKE THAT 3) SERIOUSLY YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AT STARBUCKS!

Ugh. Anyway then I went home and ate some leftovers for dinner while watching Dancing With The Stars and writing this blog. I also apparently had some Hot Cash coupon codes that I didn't spend yet... so I bought a Loungefly Nightmare Before Christmas Backpack and a Nightmare Before Christmas Wallet.

So... yeah! I think that's about it. I might make some popcorn... and I need to take a bath. Chill night... from a chaotic day that was "Just One Of Those Days."

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
