Target Tuesday: The 2 different types of Target Renovations

Okay... so I feel like this is going to be hard for me to explain because there's a new Target coming to my area and it's going to be HUGE and I'm hoping they make it more like the fancier new renovation of target that a lot of the bigger stores are getting. I've seen the fancier remodel in the Manalapin store and a store in Watchung... I'm not sure why these stores are just somehow... better. I like the new remodel that's in my regular Target... and I'm all on board for any Target... but that Manalapin Target is really nice.

So here are some pictures of some things that I think you might find in my Target

We have all the clothes in one area. All the brands are kept together but the displays are kind of simple. The beauty section in this picture might be a little bit bigger than the one in my Target- but it still kind of looks like this where it's sort of designed to look like a Sephora or Department Store Makeup Counter or something. It's very easy to see the products and pick out what you like. And it's like right there when you get in the store- so that's kind of nice too lol.

I think this looks better than it used to look and it's a lot easier to find. But other sections aren't quite as good.

My mom usually likes to look in the toy section and the kids section... and it's a little more confusing now than it used to be. It's just a very big area that's kind of in the middle of the store and... it just didn't work quite as well. Now the Manalapin one is a little bigger and the way the clothes are all displayed kind of looks like a Macys or something. They each have individual brand shops and the jewelry and accessories are displayed nicely within those sections too... here are some pictures.

Idk why its a little bit different but it just kind of looks nice. And it's like they have a little bit of a bigger selection with everything. It's "the sexy target" as my boyfriend and I like to call this design of target.

When I was there I ended up getting some DVDs, one of those key things so you don't have to touch things... and I don't think I bought any books but they did have a nice book selection that I wanted to pick up some things... but didn't want to spend all that much money.

Overall both are great redesigns but... I really like the Manalapin and Watchung versions of the remodel more than the other Targets I've been to. I'm not sure if they still have different types of Targets where they have Super Target and Target Greatland. I guess the one I go to is technically a Target Greatland but... I'm not really sure.

Anyway that is it!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
