Sick This Week... (1.26.18)

Ughhh I've been so sick this week! I felt fine on Monday... then Tuesday and Wednesday I felt really bad... by Thursday I was feeling a little bit better... today I'm almost back to normal... but not all the way there yet.

Anyway... I thought I'd let you know how the week has been going and what some of my favorites have been anyway... cause it might be interesting even though it was very boring.

So Monday was really good... mostly cause I wasn't sick at all. I went out to dinner with my friends... I did some shopping and I just had a fun time over all. We went to Teak... I had the same thing I had when I first went to Teak and I reviewed it... it was really really good! As I said... I did some shopping too... it was just nice and I got some fun stuff from Ulta and Primark... Haul sometime soon?

Tuesday was when I started to feel not so good... my head was pounding- I was a little sniffly... I couldn't really eat anything... it was just kind of bad overall. I had also been watching Black Mirror the night before all of this... so that was dark and me just not feeling well didn't really help anything... so that was fun.

Wednesday I felt even worse... I think maybe my headache was worse on Wednesday because I couldn't get to sleep early on Tuesday... so I just felt worse most of the day... I started to feel a little bit better later on in the day... and some good tv shows were on. There were 2 episodes of American Housewife, which was exciting. They also showed a Special of The Goldbergs that I think they're making a tv show on next year... it was called 1990-something and it focused on the principle and his nieces... and the coach... I liked that a lot. I thought it was funny. I saw 9-1-1 too... missed The X Files- but that will probably be my favorite episode of the season.

Thursday... I felt pretty okay! I still had a fever- I still had the same problem where I couldn't get to sleep as early as I should have... but I ate a little bit more this day. I had a Vanilla Bean Frappucino from Starbucks, that was pretty delicious... I only had half of it. I also had a Black and White Mocha... which is my usual drink since the holiday flavors have been out of stock... and yeah... that's kind of what that's been like. I took the Wallgreens version of Sudafed though- so at least that was good.

Soooo... I think maybe I'll go into depth on what my actual "Sick Day Essentials" are tomorrow because I think this is a good enough blog for right now... lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
