Scribbles about TV: 2nd week of March 2015

Big TV week for me... as I couldn't do much else lol. On Sunday I watched some more Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt... I finished it last week... but I'm going to keep watching it again and again because I love it so much. I also kind of want to write for it someday maybe... lol. So better watch it a lot now. I also watched Bobs Burgers, Brooklyn 99 and Last Man On Earth. All amazing shows, really digging fox's comedy line up. I don't like The Simpson's or Family guy... but these are great. The Last Man on Earth is a show that is very unexpectedly amazing. I thought "how could they have a show of just the last man on earth... but the end of every episode does have an exciting twist that makes me very excited for the next episode. I love it. Its really good. Kristen Schaal also does live tweets and stuff, which is really cool. I like it a lot. On Monday I watched last weeks Better Call Saul and Jane the Virgin and this weeks Better Call Saul. I sprained my ankle...

Scribbles About Food: Keurig Favorites!

Soooo, recently my family got a Keurig. We have the Keurig 2.0 its super easy and quick to make coffee... And I've been trying/ drinking a lot of different ones... so with that said, lemme tell you some of my favorites. Wegman's brand has cheaper K cups that are pretty good. My mom has their Hazelnut... she was having a lot of trouble getting hazelnut instant brew coffee anywhere, so thats why we ended up getting the Keurig in the first place. I haven't tried the Wegmans hazelnut yet, but today at the dentist I had a Wegman's French Vanilla K cup... and it was sweet and good. They didn't have milk or anything there and usually I drink it with milk. I still put sugar in it... but it was really quite good. My mom picked some up from Wegmans today... so yeah. I'm excited about that. Speaking of Hazelnut, Gloria Jeans has a stronger Hazelnut that I really enjoy. Also they have a Mudslide flavor which is quite delicious as well. I love Gloria Jeans. They have gre...

Scribbles about TV: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Review

Heyyy guys! I wasn't sure when I was going to finish Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It was developed for Network Television, so I wasn't going to binge-watch it... but honestly I can't help myself. If its there to binge, bingers gonna binge. I think I'm going to watch it again one more time whole... cause I already started to do that, and then watch it on a more weekly basis. Kind of gives you an idea as to how much I like this series as I'm already talking about watching the entire season 3 times... So the show is about a regular girl that was taken into a cult when she was a teenager and kept underground until she was 29 years old... and she escapes and realizes that she doesn't want to just be a "mole woman" her whole life. She wants to escape her past in Iowa, where she was taken and live in New York City. And she's an adult with an adult brain and everything, but she doesn't understand the world today... so hijinx happens. Lol. She goes to...

Scribbles About News: First Week of March 2015

1) Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney and Vince Vaughn Take The Plunge- Wait why is Vince Vaughn in this... lol no, this week in Gaga news, Lady Gaga and her future husband both participated in Chicago's Polar Bear Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics. Gaga was excited to help... but I live in NJ and it is freezing here, cannot imagine what the Midwest is like. Its something I've always wanted to do... but I hate the cold and I'm afraid of the ocean... but I support the cause lol. Good for them! Here are some cute pics Gaga posted on her Insta/Facebook page. This one is super cute of them in the plunge! And here she is wearing her fiance's hat. She thought her wig was going to freeze into the lake! That made me giggle. This is a cute way that the couple is celebrating their engagement and helping others, I guess. Its not really an engagement celebration, but you know. You can see they're both like extra in love and they're happy and helping people. S...

Scribbles about TV: First week of March 2015

Started out strong. Better Call Saul Marathonin with my mom. She falls asleep before most of the episodes... I have a hard time paying attention to some of the episodes... so we watched the first 3 episodes of it and tried to explain it to my sister who had little interest and doesn't like Breaking Bad. Then I watched Secrets and Lies... which sucked. It really sucks its pretty bad. Its watchable, so I may continue watching it. Compared to The Slap its better but its still laughably awful and I think this isn't how crime investigations really work. Also I'm watching it now, the second episode is a little bit better than the pilot, but its still not good. I'm pretty sure the end is going to be the same as Gone Girl. Ohhh and I half watched Once Upon a time. Ummm I don't think I watched the Winter Finale... I may not have watched the episode before that... I'm not sure. This is where Once looses me because I totally don't remember what happened and I feel ...

Scribbles About TV: New Shows!

Sooo I'm going to have another SATV about everything in the week... but there are a few new shows on I just wanted to spotlight. Secrets and Lies  I didn't really know what to expect from this show. I thought the plot looked really good, but I don't really like Juliette Lewis as an actress and I don't like Ryan Philippe because I like Reese Witherspoon and who would divorce her? Either way he's very hot and the show looked good, so I watched it. The premier was 2 hours and the first hour was pretty terrible. Not going to lie, it wasn't because of Lewis or Phillipe, who I guess I should give more of a chance... but it wasn't my cup of tea I suppose. It was kind of laughably bad, but watchable. Like The Slap I thought was laughably bad but not watchable at all. This was watchable, but also a little predictable. Not that its not good, the twist at the end of  the first episode was a really good twist... but my sister called it and I was like 'yeah tha...

Throwback Thursday: Games

So when its cold outside, I don't really love going out... and a lot of times I'll just stay home, listen to podcasts and play games on the computer. And There is always a bit of nostalgia because I don't play these gams often but yeah. First off the big throwbacks are the Disney Channel Games that I pretty much grew up with as a kid. I started playing the game 625 Sandwich Stacker because at the time I'd been playing a lot of Sky Burger, which I mentioned in my January It List I believe... anyway I started playing this again... and its fun but it isn't that interesting. Its maybe a little harder than Sky Burger because you can't stack things up too high, but its also super easy to just make a really small sandwich, get a few points and then just move to the next round, so I kind of like that Sky Burger forces you to make certain kinds of burgers. Its still really fun though, its cute and it brings back fond memories. I also played some Kim Possible games. I...
