What's Up Wednesday: 9.7.16

Today I woke up in an oddly good mood... maybe not "oddly" but I was kind of well rested even though I didn't get a lot of sleep and just in a good mood... so that was good. I did sleep in a little bit after I initially woke up... but yeah. For Lunch I had some yummy leftover 3-meat baked ziti, which was good. I've had kind of an upset stomach recently... so I ate this with no sour feeling stomach... which was good! I didn't have much of it because I knew I was going to Starbucks later... and that is where this day gets really exciting! I've been on a quest for the movie Tower of Terror that was part of The Wonderful World of Disney... for years. Like literally I was looking for it when I went on the ride the last time I went to Disney in 2009... so its been a long search. And recently I was browsing Targets website (I'm probably going to buy Lilo and Stitch because I just rewatched it on Netflix and its going away soon) and it said that not only did t...

Tag Tuesday: The Hamilton Tag

I really like Tags now apparently. I saw this tag over  here  and decided to do the tag!  1) How did you find out about Hamilton? I heard about it when it was first out... maybe before it was on broadway? On a radio station they said it was an amazing rap musical about Alexander Hamilton and the owner of Jouer, Christina, mentioned it in one of her snapchats and I took note of that. I'm a fan of musicals, but I had seen In The Heights and sometimes hip hop and rap are a little harder to understand on stage so I was like "Well... I'll just listen to the soundtrack and see if I like it." And I listened to it in like January or February while cleaning my room during a snow storm... and then I listened to it again and again and again... and I've been obsessed ever since then and now I would LOVE to see it live. I don't think I will anytime soon... but I'd LOVE too!  Also I didn't realize Lin Manuel Miranda did both In The Heights and Hamilton... ...

Scribbles about TV: My Random Obsession with Bar Rescue

The charts for this week were basically the same as last week... so I figured I'd talk about something I love to hate: Bar Rescue. And I don't really even love to hate it... maybe I hate to love it? That makes sense to me too. Anyway every single Sunday Spike has a marathon of Bar Rescue... and for the most part... I watch it like its church. And its not necessarily because I love Bar Rescue that I watch it... its more because nothing else is on on Sunday, I don't like Sports I have no interest in The Olympics... so for me... its Bar Rescue or actually going out and doing something with my life. And even if I do decide to do something with my life... usually Bar Rescue is still on when I'm done trying. So... yeah. Its basically Stockholm Syndrome. I love Bar Rescue because it has me hostage all day every Sunday and I just love it. And the funny thing is... I ALWAYS complain about it on Facebook too. I'm always like "Okay these people on Bar Rescue are crazy...

Weekly Wrap up 9.3.16

Favorites  Pumpkin Spice Latte- I'm ready for Halloween now... lol. The PSL is back and it is really delicious! I'm working on my 4th one as we speak. I've had one iced and the rest hot... even though its been pretty hot out this week. I'm just a fan. I'm excited to try the Mexican Hot Chocolate-type drink! Stuart the Minion- I love the Build a Bear minions, and as you might know, I built another one last week and he's just as cute and cuddly as the others! Yes... I cuddle minions when I go to bed... It's been more comfortable to me lately and comforting... and I'm happy to have Stuart now too. I know... its a silly thing for a grown woman to have as a favorite... but you know I love minions and cartoons... so I love him! Life Scribbles -Monday I didn't do too much but I was in a pretty good mood. I had a good starbucks. Good dinner, my cousin got Prailenes from New Orleans and I had one of those... just one of those it shouldn't ...

Scribbles About Things To Do: Build a Bear Workshop

I thought I'd do a more extensive scribble about a fun place that maybe people don't know about or haven't been too. I feel like this is becoming less and less of a thing now, but its still something fun to do that I think most people would do. Its still fairly popular too from the 3 times I've been in the past year or so. And that's an important thing to note about Build a Bear... its not an "all the time" thing. I went there 3 times in the past year or so because I was making Minions... Minions are my total favorite and I needed to build all 3 and my sister ended up building all 3 as well.Well okay I built 2 for her and she built one for someone special last weekend... and she actually included the 2 of hers in her wedding. She and her husband danced with the minions to the minion version of "This I swear" which is adorable. Anyway since I just went this weekend... I figured I'd let you know how it was. A lot of things that you can add...

Scribbles About Food: Brunch at Cheesecake Factory- Chicken and Waffles Benedict

Cheesecake Factory is a pretty popular restaurant... and the selection can be pretty overwhelming, so I thought I'd do a review on this brunch special that I had this weekend... just because. I'm not that into big restaurant chains... but Cheesecake Factory is pretty good, so I thought why not? Plus I'll remember if I liked it or not. Note: I ordered the Eggs Benedict on the side because I'm not a fan of eggs. I believe if you order it all together they'll put the egg and hollandaise sauce on top of the chicken, I prefer syrup with my waffles anyway so I just asked for syrup and I put that on top of the chicken and waffles. I still wanted to order the egg because I figured it wouldn't cost any less without the egg, so I might as well give the egg a try too. And honestly... the eggs were okay! I'd still probably prefer it on the side and I don't think the hollandaise sauce really worked with it that way. I could see that being good on toast... but yea...

Scribbles About Music: Throwback Thursday Edition: Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner

Alright! Here we go! This one is my favorite song from From Under The Cork Tree... Possibly one of my favorites from Fall Out Boy... And honestly... listening to it right now, I don't love it the way I did before. I mean I still think its really clever written and it still probably is my favorite... but I don't feel like a kid listening to it, I just feel like "This was the best song by Fall Out Boy... back in the day." I think its still my favorite, but if I were to have to choose between this or one of their newer songs on the radio... I'd pick one of the newer songs! It's kind of a bittersweet feeling. Its really sad to type out that this song was a little bit of a let down... but at the same time... I know its not. I'm happy that I like their newer songs more, not because new is better... but Fall Out Boy is older now and I am too. What I do really miss about their older songs is that they all sound different... now all the new songs by Fall Out ...
