Streets Ahead- Get Streets Ahead of comedy television!

So I am mourning the loss of Community still and I don't want this to happen to any more of my shows, so I am going to tell you all the comedy shows on all of the networks that exist. CBS  Pass... They don't have the best comedies. I used to watch HIMYM, but that's over and the end sucked. I've caught some Mike and Molly... Melissa McCarthy is funnier than that. I also used to watch the Big Bang theory... And it's not like it doesn't make me laugh but it's not groundbreaking really. Also Two Broke Girls I used to watch but not anymore... It's bad. Just skip CBS for comedy. If you're looking for a good news show though watch Sunday Morning. My new Sunday Morning ritual is having my puppy wake me up around when that is on. That's what I think happened the last couple of weeks and it's amazing. NBC   Nbc has always had the best comedies, but sadly now there is only Parks and Recreation. I wonder what the schedule will be for the fall bec...

Stuff that Happened this week (5/4-5/11)

1) Condoleezza backs out of Rutgers Graduation Speech after protest from students and faculty- Okay, online it just says student protests, but I go to a Rutgers Campus and I know that the Faculty was also unhappy about the decision to get Condoleezza Rice to speak at graduation. Honestly, I did not understand the controversy over the decision until my professor informed me that he thought it was a bad idea. If you are like me and also didn't understand the protest, apparently it was her decision as Secretary of State to launch the War in Iraq. I understand the controversy over this and why a lot of people did not want her to speak, but at the same time how many people protesting have actually been Secretary of State during the war? I don't think it was an easy decision. I doubt when she was a little kid she dreamed of being Secretary of the United States during a tragic time in history and launching a war. It's not like its an easy choice to make or an easy job to have... a...

Shannon Goes Viral #1:Star Wars, Walter White vs Rick Grimes & more!

Sooo I'm kind of obsessed with Viral Videos and the like, so it just makes sense for me to review them on my blog! I don't know why I haven't done this before, but I'm doing it now. I'm going to do some new videos, but I may throw in a few oldies and some of my favorites that you may not have heard of and maybe some you have. Idk how it's going to work, but I know there are two newer videos that I am very excited about! One of them has two badasses rap battling each other, and the other features Weird Al and the Star Wars Cantina scene... This is amazing already! 1) Epic Rap Battles of History: Rick Grimes vs. Walter White- Alrighty, an epic rap battle between the baddest badasses on tv, other than Arya Stark probably... This I'm in for. I didn't know if I would get as many of the jokes as I did, so I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a huge Breaking Bad fan and I like the Walking Dead, but I haven't watched it since season 1... So some of the thin...

Feeling Lovely Friday- Haul Review!

Sooo I have recently hauled some things and I've gotten a chance to try them all out a little bit at least and I thought I'd mention what I thought so far. Some of them have been featured in my favorites... So I probably won't talk about them as much, but if you're curious they'll be in last weeks post. One thing I used a lot in my "faces of the week" post that I hauled somewhat recently was my Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in whatever Malibu shade they have... Idk what it's called. I do like this a lot, it probably just missed getting mentioned in my favorites because I'm still a little unsure how I should apply it. It isn't all that pigmented using it with a brush. I feel like there could be some more color when I use it with my fingers. Idk, maybe I'm using it wrong, or my hopes were just too high. I have been liking it... But I feel like I expected wayyy too much from this. It's expensive for a drugstore product too, so I woul...

Scribbles about my dreams: Adventures with Cristina, Regan and my BFFS Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill

So I realize I have a lot of crazy dreams and this one was my favorite recent dream and it's good enough to share. Sooo a few weeks ago I went to the city with my friends Cristina and Regan and it was fun and spontaneous, so I had a dream that we did it again, but this time with our BFF Seth Rogen! Because were obviously best friends with Seth Rogen. Apparently Seth is also an awesome wingman he brought his friend Jonah Hill with him too. And Jonah was hitting on Regan. I'm not totally sure if Regan was into it at first, but I think toward the end of the dream Jonah was winning her over with his charm. Seth I think was trying to set them up, so he knew that they would totally get along. He was also getting us to go to a party in order to hook Cristina up with someone. Rogen was the best wingman ever in this dream. I'm sure he'd be like this in real life too. What an awesome bro. And I think we met Seth because I was BFFS with James Franco, who was in the dream but h...

Yet another haul. (American Eagle, Bath and Body Works, Sephora, Forever 21, and More!)

Heyyyy guys I realize I shop too much... But I thought I'd share it with you. I've recently done a bit of shopping. I had some gift cards and I just want to buy some new things and all that... So I thought I'd share it with you guys. On Friday I'm going to try to give reviews on some of the beauty items and things like that. Ulta- quick stop  I went over to the Nyx display immediately because that's what I always do. I really wanted the butter lipstick or some of the new butter glosses... But I couldn't find them anywhere, but I did see a nice palette called the Wicked Dreams palette. I haven't heard anything amazing about this, but the colors looked interesting, the packaging was nice and there were a lot of colors and a nice variety for 14.99. There are lots of looks I think I can get with this, so I'm excited about this. Then I had wanted to try the Dewey Finish Setting Spray for forever and so I had to pick this up. I always want something that ...

How To-sday: How to wear Mint Green Eyeliner.

Heyy guys, so I recently got Stila's Mint Julep Smudgestick eyeliner, and I wasn't quite sure what type of eye look to pair it with. I thought that this eye look would be nice and neutral in order for the eyeliner to pop more. I also did a more glowy skin look because that's what I've been digging lately. This has sort of been my go-to look for a little while, so sometimes I switch up the face products, I'm using some new stuff here and I really love the way it turned out. So first on the face I used Benefit's Porefessional Primer. This was my first time using it and I really liked it. I'll have a more in depth review soon. Then I used my Rimmel Stay Matte foundation. This is a mattifying foundation, but because of the liquid mousse texture, it works well with the glowy dewey skin look. I like it. I used some under my eyes to conceal a bit more too. Then I took my Elf small stipple brush and my NYC Sunny Bronzer and I took that over the hollows of...
