A Very Nerdy Haul

So... I got some nerdy things and I thought I'd share that today because... why not?

Little Shop of Comics

So this is a fun little comic book shop that isn't too far from my boyfriend. Don't let the Little name fool you... they have more comics and graphic novels than a lot of bigger comic book shops.

So I got two of the funko pops from the movie Elf and they are Jovi and Poppa Elf. I thought they were cute and even though I don't have Buddy and I think they sold out of Buddy... but I'm still happy with the ones I got!

And I got a David Bowie Coloring Book and the David Bowie Graphic Novel both of these are by Michael Alfred... they look really cool! I kind of want to read the Graphic Novel and color the pages to match. It looks fun!

Record Store

I forget what the Record Store's name was- but I bought some for my boyfriend because I bought him a record player for christmas so he looked around he picked out The Great Muppet Caper soundtrack- which was funny because we had been talking about The Muppets all day... and then we saw a Donald Duck CD that had reviews from Goofy and Scrooge McDuck on it it... it was funny. And finally... he found Sound Machine by The Gorillaz- which is a band he really likes. And the Record player worked really well! It wasn't too loud... it was just right!

Disney Store

I lucked out at The Disney Store and got 2 Funko Pops! The Rainbow Unicorn from Inside Out and the Metallic Redd from Pirates of The Carribean! It was just kind of a lucky find- apparently a return from the parks. The employees at Disney Store were eyeing them... but I just kinda picked them up like "Ohh. I like these." And they were on a good sale so win win!

I also got a mystery Mickey's Christmas Carol Snowglobe- which was Daisy, A Soul Tote Bag and another mystery figure in a popcorn box... and mine ended up being Robin Hood- which is awesome!

And I got a Soul Tote Bag. Which is great because I love Soul!

Target

I got a 5 Surprise Toy Brands Mystery thing... which was fun! I'll have to maybe show all of my 5 surprise things someday because Idk if that's something people will want to read about on a blog... but maybe I could do something like that.

And then I have the Evee and Vaporeon Pops... because why not? I sort of wanted the Vaporeon one because Vaporeon was my first ever Holographic Pokemon Card... I still actually remember looking at it in my mom's old car when we were listening to an Alanis Morisette CD that my sister had... VERY specific and weird memory... but I can't even remember where I put anything I own... so yeah.

And I got a book- The Flight Attendant. Which is a tv show that I want to watch on HBO Maxx- so I need to read the book first!

And I got some Bubly... my legs have been hurting from charlie horses- so I have only been drinking water and I heard Seltzer is also good for Charlie Horses... so I thought I'd drink that. And it's really good. I got the Cherry and Raspberry flavors and I've started drinking the Cherry... idk if this is the best seltzer- I think I just like the ads with Micheael Buble and I like the packaging on it a lot... plus I always pronounce it Buble now and I think the ads even do... so it's funny. I really like it.

And I got 2 erasers from the Bullseye's Playground section of Target. I might put some in with my friends presents and keep some for me.

And... I think that's everything! I hope you guys like this!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
