My Record Collection! Crosley Record Player

So I told you guys yesterday I got a Crosley Record Player and I've been buying kind of a lot of records since then... and yesterday I actually finally got to go to my favorite local record/music store Jack's Music Shop in Red Bank... I wish I had spent a little more time there because they have EVERYTHING there but... anyway that was fun... so I guess I'll talk about those records first and then go to the others.

So I got a Diana Ross Record. This was in the discount record bin- so it was $4 or $5 I think. My mom is a big fan of Diana Ross and I just thought she looked really pretty on the album cover. I forget what the name of this one is... but it has the song Love Hangover on it so yeah! That's exciting.

I also got the Kesha album Rainbow... which is one of my favorites. This is one I for sure wanted right when I got the record player... so I'm excited for that.

And I got the Harry Styles album Fine Line... I love this album so I'm excited to have it on vinyl! Plus the album cover is really nice lol.

The first one I got when I was at Walmart and bought the record player itself and that is Pray for the Wicked by Panic at The Disco. I'd like to get more Panic at The Disco records but... this was the only one they had there so I was excited to see this one so yeah.

And at Barnes and Noble I got the Ed Sheeran Album Divide. I like this album a lot. I feel like this is the one I've listened to the most so far and it sounds really good! I really like this one.

At Target I got Lady Gaga's Chromatica... which is a clear album. I don't know that I've listened to this fully before getting the record actually... so that should be kind of fun. It sounded good so far- got a little scratched... it might be because it doesn't have a sleeve like the other ones... it also might just be that I'm not that good at using the record player yet... either way good album... and I want more from Lady Gaga.

And then the last one I have is Lizzo's Cause I Love You... which is my favorite! This was ordered from Target's website. I love Lizzo so... yeah I'm excited about that!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
