Barnes and Noble Mostly Stuff on Sale Haul

Alright... I got a random selection of things at some Barnes and Noble stores... most things were on sale and on the clearance table... but some were more expensive than I thought they would be... but... yeah. These were maybe necessary purchases. Kind of sort of.

First off I got a Funko Pop! The Barnes and Noble Exclusive Glow in the Dark 22 from Disney and Pixar's Soul... I loved this movie and I hold out on the Funko Pops till I see the movie... which unfortunately means I might have missed out on some of the figures cause I haven't seen Joe Garnder, the cat or the Soul versions of those figures anywhere... but... at least I got this one! These are very pretty pops!

Next up I got a Water Bottle. This one is a Sip by S'well bottle and this one has Elsa from Frozen all over it. I like Frozen and I like S'well bottles... so seeing this for 40% off seemed like a good idea to get.

Next up I got some pens that were 50% off... but they were originally kind of a lot of money to begin with so... I didn't realize that till I was at checkout and... yeah. I decided to get them anyway because I like the smaller colorful pens. I think these were Steadletter... which is a pricey brand. They're really nice though and Barnes and Noble usually has good pens... so I like getting them for 50% off.

I got a notebook that was $3. It has a little Narwal on it that says I'm basically a Unicorn. So Cute.

And I got a few books. One was on the super sale section and it was Queen of Katwe. This my boyfriend and I saw in the super sale section a long time ago... didn't get it. I think it was before the shutdown happened or something happened where we didn't see it for a long time or we didn't get to Barnes and Noble for a long time... so we new we had to grab that one!

Next up I saw Rachel Bloom's book was 50% off- so I was excited about that. Rachel Bloom is one of the creators and the star of the show Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Her book is an Autobiography called "I Want To Be Where The Normal People Are" and I was excited about this! I wanted to get it and since it was on sale... win win!

Next up- I didn't realize this was a book series- but I got Dash and Lilly's Book of Diaries! This was in the YA Section of the store... and I loved the Netflix Series Dash and Lilly... so I'm excited to read the series. This is by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan... I'm excited to read this. It looks like it'll be a nice quick read.

I got another book too called Little Cruelties by Liz Nugent. This is new- and it wasn't on sale... so hopefully it's good! It sounded good- it's about 3 brothers who were born one year after each other and it sounds like their mother raised them to be competitive and their pranks and jokes ended up becoming much more cruel later on... so that sounds really good and I'm excited to read it!

Alright that is everything! I hope you guys like this and... I'll let you guys know some reviews of the books and stuff!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
