2020... Was this the worst year ever?

Alright guys... 2020 is over as of today... I'm writing this on December 29th- but I'm posting this on the first so yeah.

And I have to say as crappy as it was... this is the year I'll probably remember more than a lot of years. It's the year I'll talk about the most and... there are things that were totally unimportant that are things I wouldn't have been special any other year... but this year they're like highlights.

Early on in the year my boyfriend and I saw kind of a lot of movies... which is great- but it's something that we sort of always do... but NOW this is like all I can think about. We haven't seen a movie since Onward released in March... and I don't think we'll be going back any time soon. I just keep thinking like "wow- we saw Invisible Man, Harley Quinn, Sonic the Hedgehog, Onward... I feel like maybe we saw something else... but I keep thinking about it like "Wow! That was so cool. We just saw The Invisible Man in Theaters and went out to dinner after (or maybe before) like it was nothing!" And now... we watch movies on our couch... which is fun but Movie Theaters were great and I'd love to go back to one one day!

When the shutdown happened... it was scary. I work in a store and it's usually very busy... and we barely had any customers. After the Disney Parks shut down... it was like everyone knew something was going on and... it wasn't too long before we closed too. The last day was kind of scary- I didn't know we would be closed. The night before there was an earlier time we were closing and... it was just weird that day. We were just trying to clean things up and put things away. It was a weird day.

Before that was my boyfriend's birthday- which is when Indoor Dining was closed- so we had to do takeout from Chili's for his birthday and my mom went out and bought him a cake and st patrick's day cupcakes because his birthday is on St. Patrick's Day... it was a fun day but a weird day and a sad day cause that was the last day I saw him in a while.

There was also a day on my boyfriend's spring break where we went shopping like all day and I remember seeing Target wiped out of Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, antibacterial wipes, and Hand Sanitizers. They had someone standing outside of Bath and Body Works saying that there was no more Hand Sanitizer... it was crazy.

Okay so my favorite parts of 2020... ANIMAL CROSSING NEW HORIZONS! Omg... I played this game all day every day during the shutdown. It was so much fun... I have so many good neighbors and... I just really like my island. I named it Spencario after my dog Spencer.

Also The Bachelorette! I loved this season so much. The 2 bachelorettes... the 2 engagements and love stories... I really liked Tayshia on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise... and I was happy to see her on the show. And I kinda liked Clare's part too... I was not really a fan of clare on Bachelor Winter Games... but she was kinda crazy on the Bachelorette... but I can see why. I don't exactly know if I'd feel comfortable dating 30 guys in a pandemic and I probably would end the show early too if I felt a connection with one guy. And she didn't waste the other guys time for that long... they were able to get a new lady in and... she did a great job. And now both Clare and Tayshia are happily engaged after 3 seasons with no successful engagements.

I also never watched Dancing With The Stars before... but that was the first show to return and it was fun to watch. And I forgot how much I actually love dancing and watching Dancing so that was a really great show to watch for that. Plus everyone was so good! I wanted Nev to win... but I love Kaitlyn Bristowe and I'm so happy she won.

And HAMILTON! Hamilton is my favorite thing ever... but this year Disney Plus... which is another favorite... released Hamilton and I watched it so many times. I love it. I want to watch it again and again and again just talking about it...

Okay... I think that's everything I want to talk about. I hope you guys have a great New Year's. I really am hoping to post every day on this blog this year... but thats been my goal for a few years so... we'll see. But maybe I can make it through January... I don't have many ideas on what to post but... maybe I will.

Bye!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
