Reality TV Spoiler Roundup: Dancing With The Stars, The Bachelorette, The Masked Singer and Some Gameshows!

Alright- so I wasn't planning on posting today... but you know... I've been watching a lot of reality tv and... I figured why not just do a post on the shows that I watch. I love recapping the Bachelor Shows and would like to do The Masked Singer and Dancing With The Stars as well... so yeah!

Dancing With The Stars- 80's Night

Okay... So I've actually been really into Dancing With The Stars... I really do like watching people dance and I kind of like learning about celebrities I didn't really know about before... which sounds bad- but I mean it in a good way lol. This week was 80s Night- which was a lot of fun. I voted on this too! I only vote on ABC.Com and I vote for every couple that I enjoyed watching... so I did vote for most of the couples. I think I didn't vote for Jesse, Chrishell and Vernon... I forget if I voted for Skai or not... I like her dancing but I think I forgot to vote for her. And last week was probably my least favorite routine of hers... so I think that was a fine call lol. I think my favorite dance of the night was Kaitlyn Bristowe... I did like her as Bachelorette (I watched a few episodes of her season.) I also really liked Johnny Weir and AJ McLean's dances too. I think my least favorite dance of the night was Chrishell... but I am a fan of Jesse Metcalfe and it was really hard to watch him dance so badly on the show! So... I'm kind of glad he was booted.

Nelly has also been one of my favorites for the season despite him not being one of the judges favorites... I'm glad that he did so much better during this episode. I think he just keeps on improving and I hope he'll be on the show for a while longer. I'm not really sure who I'd like to win the mirrorball trophy... there are a lot of really good dancers on the show.

I also just loved the 80s night spin... fun way to show the different dances!

The Bachelorette

Alright... so I think we all kind of know what happens with this bachelorette season... I'm going to break that down a little bit so there might be some spoilers if you haven't heard about the spoilers for the season already. Allegedly Clare finds love very early on with Dale and she leaves the show and Tayshia from Colton's season quickly takes over.

So... yeah the guys had all of their limo entrances. My favorite was the guy in the straightjacket who WORE THE STRAIGHTJACKET THE WHOLE NIGHT and it was implied that he was attempting a magic trick to take it off... but it seems as though he never did. I also liked Eazy... he just seems like a nice guy with a good personality and he jumped through a thing that said "Your Future Husband" so... I like that.

And when Clare met Dale...

Basically...first off it should be pointed out. Dale is hot.

I really can't blame Clare... He's the type of guy that I can see giving the giggly crush feels.

Anyway she REALLY connected with Dale- he obviously got the first impression Rose. And she did kiss 2 other guys... One guy that broke the rules and reached out to her during quarantine- and Clare claims he was the only one that did that. And one person you can see her kissing in the preview for the season but they cut it out of the episode for some reason so... you can assume she's kissed more guys than Dale... but I think she was just picturing Dale the whole time... lol.

Anyway I'm really excited for this season... it's going to be weird and I want to see what happens!

The Masked Singer

This was a kind of hard episode to watch because I really do think everyone was good... The Seahorse of corse Blew everyone out of the water... but everyone was pretty good. But the Baby Alien was eliminated and it was not someone I was guessing at all... but a celebrity I know and one that I kind of like a lot- Mark Sanchez- a former member of the New York Jets! I don't watch much football- but I am a Jets fan and a fan of Mark Sanchez... the Jets were much better than they are now when he was on the team but... that really isn't saying much at all. Lol. Either way I thought he did a good job singing and I was totally expecting it to be a comedian... but it was Mark Sanchez! So... everyone was way off.

I do have a few guesses for the other singers. I'm pretty sure The Seahorse is Jessica Simpson, the Serpent I think is Taye Diggs and the Alligator sounds like Adam Lambert to me. The Whatchamacallit sounds very familiar to me and I think he could be a hip hop singer despite the panel guessing he's an athlete... idk his voice just sounds familiar.

I also don't think the Masked Singer is on this week? I think because of The World Series it isn't on or something.

Game Shows

Speaking of Game Shows... after the Masked Singer is another favorite gameshow of mine: I Can See Your Voice where you try to guess who is a good singer and who is a bad singer based on their appearance and some clues about them. The goal is to guess all of the bad singers so that the last person standing is a good singer. You get 10,000 for each bad singer that you guess and if you're confident that your final pick is a good singer you can trade in whatever you win from the guessing to get a chance to win 100,000 if you think you have a good singer left. In last week's episode they eliminated 2 good singers early on in the episode- so the contestant decided to leave with 30,000 instead of staying with her pick who she thought was a good singer... and she made a good call because she was left with a bad singer. The funny part is though that at the end of the night- whoever is left does a duet with a famous singer... so we were left with this really bad singer doing a duet with Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls. That was pretty funny.

Supermarket Sweep debuted tonight- and that was a fun gameshow. I didn't really pay attention to all of it... but it was pretty fun from what I watched.

They also showed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Which I don't love... I'm not really a fan of Jimmy Kimmel but I believe one of the celebrities on the show wins a million dollars in this season and I believe it's going to be Rebel Wilson... just because I know she's very educated- I think she has a law degree. Tiffany Haddish was on tonight and she was really funny.

And now I'm watching Card Sharks... which I like enough. I'm not paying much attention to it because I'm writing this but... it isn't the worst game show on.

That is everything! I hope you guys like this post- I'll try to do one each week... or at least each week these shows are on.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
