TV Breakdown Thursday: Why do I always watch Friends and The Office

So... at one point in time my favorite show ever was Arrested Development... and it's not that that isn't still my favorite... but it has kind of changed over time because rewatching Arrested Development now is not nearly as fun. Especially with all the controversies of the cast... and the newest seasons on Netfllix. I haven't even watched the last few episodes... which I will one day but... idk it's just not the show it used to be. Parks and Rec, 30 Rock and Community are also shows I liked better than The Office at the time they were on... and yet I always watch marathons of The Office and I'm slightly disappointed when there are repeats of Parks and Rec on instead. It's weird.

What I really like is that there are so many seasons of The Office and Friends. There are hundreds of episodes to watch and it isn't like you are watching the same exact episodes every single time. Whereas when I see Parks and Rec on... I think they show most of the series in one marathon because the show had like 3 short seasons and it was only on for 7 seasons (season 1, 3 and 7 were the shorter seasons.) So... it just doesn't really work well for a marathon once a week. There was one channel that used to play like 2 hours or so of Parks and Rec a day and that was pretty good but... it isn't as easy to bingewatch.

TBS Plays friends from 10am to 4pm just about every day and it's something new just about every time I see it it's just a nice bingewatch. It isn't too much it just feels like a nice show to watch and it just makes me happy every time I see it. It's something I could easily watch every single day because it's just easy to have on in the backround while I do something else.

The Office I feel like is my special show that I watch on the weekends when I'm off. I just relax and watch it half asleep and... it's just really really funny. Plus I love that each season is a little bit different. There's Jim and Pam and Roy and then there's Jim and Karen and Roy and Pam and then there's finally Jim and Pam dating, and engaged and then married and having marital troubles. We also see Michael with Jan and it seems like they should be together... but then they're miserable together and Jan is crazy. And then Michael meets Holly and THEY ARE PERFECT but she gets transferred and that's sad. And then there are the seasons without Michael which I didn't like at first- but in rewatching they really aren't bad. I just like watching this once a week. It makes me happy and honestly- while I've seen every episode of Friends 100 times at least but The Office- I don't really remember ever episode and there are a lot I haven't seen in a long time.

So yeah... these are my favorite shows to Bingewatch. I feel like if Modern Family and New Girl were on TV more often- those might be on the list too... but because of streaming services I feel like it's hard to see shows in syndication anymore.

Anyway that is everything! Hope you guys like this!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
