Atlanta Season 2 Review: Robbin Season

This season might be one of my favorite seasons of any tv show... it's great!

Alright... we gotta talk about Teddy Perkins. Teddy Perkins is probably the weirdest and most memorable episode of any tv show. Earn and Paper Boi are barely in the episode... There are people in White Face... I don't want to say who... it's just a really wild episode where Darius goes to a house trying to get a Piano and then it's basically like he's escaping Neverland Ranch. It's very much like Michael Jackson and his father... it's a really weird episode. There are lots of fan theories... there's a lot of symbolism. Every shot had meaning and detail... it's just really great.

And the season is referred to as "Robbin Season" Because in the fall and winter in Atlanta is when a lot of robberies happen. And each episode has some sort of robbery. Whether it's a character actually stealing something or emotional robbery between characters... there's a lot.

There's one episode where something sad happens... and then they follow it immediately with a really funny episode about Paper Boi going to get a haircut and his hair stylist is crazy and he ends up driving him all over the place trying to do all these different scams... it's so crazy and so funny. And then that is followed by Teddy Perkins... And then I think there's another sad Paper Boi episode and then an episode with Vanessa... there's an episode with all of them and then an episode where they have a flashback... its really well done and it makes season 2 very easy to bingewatch.

Overall... this is one of the best shows on tv right now and you should definitely watch it. You don't even really have to watch it in order- you could just watch any episode that's on tv and definitely get the feel and the humor of the show. It's... really great. I would definitely recommend everyone check it out and... I cannot wait for Season 3.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
