Bullet Journal 2020 Setup

This is weird because as I'm writing this I'm in a public library and flipping through my bujo and writing in this notebook that I write the "first drafts" of my blog in... but whatever! Hopefully no one thinks I'm crazy!

This isn't the neatest setup so far... but I'm hoping to get a little better with it as time goes on... but for now I'll show this to you guys and maybe you guys can suggest some things. Maybe this will just stress you guys out too much and you'll never read this blog again...

My first page just says 2020 with some swirly designs around it and then I have my 2020 goals and I wanted to test out my gel pens- so on the next page I just wrote my name a bunch of times in each gel pens and I did some doodles using each color of the gel pens.

Next Up- January Month at a glance! I wrote a little calendar... which I messed up by making Monday the fitst day of the week and Sunday the last day... Ugh. Not too bad- but I'll remember it for next month.

Then I wrote down holidays, birthdays, important dates and I wrote my schedule for work so far and every date I write down my schedule for work so far... and every date of the month to write down anything important.

At the bottom of this page I included a David Bowie lyric and some lightning bolts. It's David Bowie's birthday this month and the anniversary of his passing I think... plus the quote can pertain to the new year... so I like that.

The next 2 pages have my habit tracker, mood tracker plus a little space to describe why I feel that way. I have my weekky spread- the first one is a mess... that week was crazy... but the second week is more structured. I did a David Bowie theme again- plus I included some water droplets and a little doodle for the weather.

And that is it so far! I hope you guys like this... I tried to go with more functionality than having great visuals for right now... but I like it so far. I think this is easy to track things and I like it!

PS... on the pictures I have edited it to avoid showing too much personal information like my work schedule or anything online. Hope that's okay... I just like staying private for a lot of things.

Bye!
-Shannon

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
