App of The Week: Plants vs Zombies

So I used to do App reviews on this blog called Appyness-and I was thinking I would do that... but I think I might have already done an actual Appyness review on this before- so I thought that I would just do a little post about what I like about the game and why I'm playing it again right now.

My boyfriend and I just talked about how much better Plants vs. Zombies 1 was compared to Plants vs. Zombies 2.

This game is a little bit spooky... so I thought that this would be really fun to play again around this time of year.

If you've never played before- it is a strategy game where you have to plant different plants to kill zombies and keep them out of your house and away from your brains! It does get a lot harder as you keep going.

I think my favorite levels are the nighttime ones and the pool levels. There's just something so fun about these and I really like the different plants that you get to defend yourselves in these levels. I also really love the mini games... there's one where you play as the zombies and that one is really fun. There are also some Bowling Games and Wack a Zombie games that are super fun also.

The plants that I always like to use are obviously the sun plants, I'll do a 2-3 rows of sun depending on where I am in the game. I also love the potato mines because those are only 25 suns and they're a good way to get started in the game... plus they can help be a last line of defense to help protect your suns... and I love the mushrooms that don't cost any suns  because again- those are a great way to get started!

Right now I'm playing the mini game Zombie Nimble, Zombie Quick... that is a hard game! Really fun though!

This is a game I really love playing over and over again. I'm really happy to play it again right now especially during halloween season. So much fun!

Bye!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
