My Lucky Earrings Story

This is just a weird story that happened today. So for my birthday my boyfriend Aspen got me a pair of Kate Spade earrings that I had actually picked out from the store I work at.

And these are beautiful kind of simple earrings but still really fancy looking and just really nice. They're rings with some CZ stones around it I think... and it's just really pretty.

I was going to my grandmother's house and I was excited to show her that my boyfriend got me these earrings... so I brought them out to the living room to put them on in front of a mirror... and I put one in and the other one went missing! I looked everywhere that I thought it could be... but I couldn't find it anywhere. I hadn't really looked all over in my room... so I thought it might still be there. I did grab an extra back the day that it went missing, so I thought maybe I had just gotten two backs and dropped the earring somewhere in my room...

I wasn't that worried that my dog had gotten them because... he was still pooping regularly and I think he would have been backed up if he had eaten the earring... and I don't think that was really like grabbing it to eat it... he would likely just steal it in order to get a treat to trade for the earring with.

And even though it wasn't a fancy earring or anything... I was upset about it because they were from Aspen and I really love him and I love the earrings and I was excited to show them off to everyone. This was the first jewelry he had gotten me... so they are sentimental in that regard.

I had checked the floors really well with a flashlight and everything before I vacuumed so I didn't think it was stuck in the carpet or anything.

Earlier today I was at my grandmothers house... and I had a backpack with me. So I'm not sure whether I was getting something from my backpack or putting something in my handbag but all of a sudden I saw it right there on the floor! I was shocked and so so excited!

I'm still not really sure how it got there. It might have just fallen into my purse and spilled out onto the carpet there... but my purse had spilled out a few times before so I was surprised it didn't spill out earlier then... so maybe it was my backpack?

I had also been wearing a sweatshirt that day that I took off- so maybe it was stuck in the sweatshirt and when I took it off it fell onto the floor? I had been to my grandmother's house since then however, so I'm kind of surprised I didn't see it earlier.

It was just a really strange and lucky thing that happened I guess. I'm really excited to have it back and I'm actually wearing them right now!

Glad I could share this story with you guys!
Bye!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
