Marvel Monday: Why I don't Stay Until The End Credits

Hey guys! So today I want to talk about why I don't really stay until the end credits of Marvel Movies.

So the simple part of the answer is: I usually want to go to the bathroom! I've actually only seen 2 Marvel Movies in theaters I think... so I guess that this isn't even really that much of an issue... but I don't stay till the end credits of any movie really because I have to go to the bathroom! And that's the simplest way to put it.

But in all reality... usually the end credits are fun... but I don't usually consider them Cannon and if it is a preview for the next movie in the franchise... I don't necessarily want to see it.

Let's take the end credits of Dr. Strange for example... the one part with Thor in it... I'd rather not have seen if I was going to see the next Thor movie in theaters because they showed the exact same scene in Ragnarock and I didn't like it as much in Ragnarock. I think Doctor Strange was released on Netflix before Ragnarock was in theaters... so if I had been a little earlier on watching Doctor Strange... this would still be an issue... but I didn't care for that.

Plus... I like knowing that there's a little bit more to the movie than just what I see in theaters and when I get home... I have something else. Something to look forward to. I feel like now I don't tend to see a lot of movies in theaters and at home... but if it's a big franchise it usually ends up on tv or I'll buy the blu ray or something... so yeah.

That's about it I guess! Short post... not my best but I feel like this is worth discussing? I feel like this is one of the special things about the Marvel movies that I've just never been that into.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
