Best Things of the 2010s

Okay... I was going to do a top 10 list of the decade... but I think I'm going to just kind of talk about some of my favorite things of the decade... but I think I'm just going to talk about some things. If you were going to ask me what the BEST THING that the 2010s have given us- it's Hamilton. You guys... Hamilton... What a fantastic musical! I saw it in 2017 I believe... I had listened to the album just about a year before I saw it and it was still 1000% better than I expected. Totally exceeds all hype and definitely worth checking out! Another big favorite that has spanned from 2010 and I'm sure my love for them will continue for years to come... THE MINIONS! They are just so cute and they always make me smile and laugh. I loved the first despicable me so much and whenever I was stressed in college I would watch different minion videos and mini movies. It's just really fun! The favorite books of the decade for me are probably The Hunger Games, Gone Girl, H

Bullet Journal 2020 Setup

This is weird because as I'm writing this I'm in a public library and flipping through my bujo and writing in this notebook that I write the "first drafts" of my blog in... but whatever! Hopefully no one thinks I'm crazy! This isn't the neatest setup so far... but I'm hoping to get a little better with it as time goes on... but for now I'll show this to you guys and maybe you guys can suggest some things. Maybe this will just stress you guys out too much and you'll never read this blog again... My first page just says 2020 with some swirly designs around it and then I have my 2020 goals and I wanted to test out my gel pens- so on the next page I just wrote my name a bunch of times in each gel pens and I did some doodles using each color of the gel pens. Next Up- January Month at a glance! I wrote a little calendar... which I messed up by making Monday the fitst day of the week and Sunday the last day... Ugh. Not too bad- but I'll reme

Bachelor Nation Buzz

Alright... so from the first episode of The Bachelor... I'm not sure how I feel. Not sure if I'll actually watch every episode or post about it here... but so far I have some thoughts. I don't have a lot to say... but it's a season. Pete kissed A LOT of the girls! And it was a little intense- and I know he had fun in the windmill with Hannah and everything... but he didn't really move his mouth a lot when he kissed these girls and... I don't know about him lol. Not someone I would want to make out with. Also I thought Hannah Ann Sluss was really cute when I first saw her and I kind of think she'll end up getting the final rose... but she "Stole Pete for a few seconds" 3 TIMES! After she had already made out with him! I don't really like that! I read some of the rumor sites so this might be a slight spoiler but I think rumor has it Victoria F has done some questionable things... she is probably the villain of the season. When she tried to

Lunch at Applebeess- It Was Good????

Today my boyfriend and I went to Applebee's for lunch. We aren't really the biggest fans of Applebee's- but we couldn't decide what we wanted for lunch and Applebee's seemed like a good option. We weren't really expecting much- but I remembered liking the lunch combos they used to have and that seemed like a good idea for a light lunch. We wanted to get dinner out also... so we didn't want anything too big. I think the combos were 7.99, 9.99, and 10.99. The 7.99 ones were 2 classic dishes, 9.99 is a classic and a signature dish and 10.99 is 2 signature dishes.  I opted for one signature and one classic and my boyfriend got 2 signature dishes. I chose the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Chicken Tender Salad. The Chicken Tortilla soup was under 200 calories- which is pretty cool if you don't want to have a heavy calorie lunch... and the salad was like a cobb salad with some chicken tender pieces in there and a honey mustard dressing.  I almost didn't

What I got for Christmas 2019

I'm not bragging... I just like to watch these videos and I thought that I would share what I got with you guys! First off let's start with some makeup! I got pretty much all of the lipsticks from the Safiya Nygaard Colourpop collab line. The only one I didn't order was "Brucie" because the whole collection was sold out when I ordered it- so I needed to order them all individually... and I didn't think I would wear Brucie so I didn't really want to get it. I'm a big fan of Safiya's videos- I try to always watch them when they come out and I'll catch up if I don't watch it right away... so I wanted to try these colors! I was really excited for them- I'll probably post a lip swatch post on my beauty blog. I also got the Mercury Retrograde palette from Huda Beauty. This is a really fun palette with a lot of wearable colors. From what I've used so far I really love it... but I'll have to use it more times before giving a full

My New Years Resolution to Drink More Water ALMOST KILLED ME

Ok... I'm probably being a little dramatic with the title... but still! This is something we need to talk about and that's it lol. So today has been pretty great so far actually. I won an award at work... which was actually really cool and its good to know I'm doing a good job and people appreciate me. I also got to see my niece who is adorable and it's just been a nice day and stuff. I had my new favorite water bottle filled up- it has little pictures of dogs doing yoga. Sooo cute... and I was drinking it and noticed it kinda smelled bad. Didn't think much of it- just thought "maybe I should clean it" and that should help better. Then I realized the cap broke and I wondered if that was what was causing the smell. And suddenly it didn't just smell bad. It smelled kind of like cement or like paint... so I have no idea if whatever was holding the cap together broke and released into my bottle or if something else happened... or if I'm just go

New Years Resolution: Be Nice to Everyone- but be NICER to the people who matter most and TOUGHER with everyone else

So just for some fun- I'm going to start out by telling you guys my resolution when I was an Edgy Freshman in High School. I wanted someone to ask me "Don't you think you're crossing the line?" And for my response to be "What line?" This was an actual thing I told people semi seriously (Ok it was more of a joke- but I did really want to do that.) This resolution is better. I've realized something: I am a nice person. So... why is that a bad thing? Well- I'm not sure the people I'm closest to would necessarily agree with that. I'm sometimes very moody and easily upset when I get stressed out. And I feel like something that might be what is stressing me out is that I'm TOO nice to... people that I should probably be a little tougher with. I feel like people might be under the impression that I don't have a backbone when it comes to some things... and that isn't something I want people to think. I might be too trusting of peo

HAPPY NEW YEAR DAILY SOMETHINGERS!!!!!!

Hey something-ers! Long time no see- hopefully I will FINALLY be better with that this year... I have some blogs I've written out- I'm going to type them tomorrow I think... I have the day off but... I guess I can talk to you about my day yesterday and today... it was kinda fun. So my Boyfriend, Aspen picked me up from work yesterday... Work was great- it went by really quickly and I was complimented on stuff by bigger bosses and it was great! And... it was just really good. And I forgot Aspen was picking me up so that was even better when I got to see him in the store. Then we went out to lunch and we went by his area to celebrate New Year's with his friends! Before that- we had to run some errands... get a few things for the party and some things he needed. And we went to Best Buy cause he needed something... so we found what he needed pretty quickly and then we had to wait in line... and this was like the worst Best Buy of all time. Actually... the worst customer ser
