February Goals 2019

Okay... so today is February First and I did mention most of the fun stuff I did in January yesterday... but I'll talk a little more about January... but really focus on what I want to do in February.

So I still want to read more and keep my room organized. I feel like it's been so difficult to do that because I did get sick in January... and that just put me behind... and some other stuff that I'm not really going to talk about but... it put me back a little too for reading and organizing my room. I did finish 1 book in January- Brittani Louise Taylor's A Sucky Love Story... and I started A Simple Favor... but I didn't get too far and I'm not really sure where I put it. Don't you hate that? Anyway... I'll clean my room- which is part 1 of the problem... and then I'll find it and read it lol.

I also want to make a Valentine's Day card for my boyfriend. I don't know if we'll actual see each other on Valentine's Day itself... but the 16th is out 6 month anniversary of our first date... so that's a little more special to me. But I have a card in mind to make for him... and I have my Caligraphy pens. I actually bought blank cards from target- I thought that they were like a traditional folded card- but it's just a blank piece of cardstock really... so it's not super great... but still useable and it'll look a little more like an actual valentine you would get at school or something. So that'll be a February Goal for sure!

I also want to watch The Lego Batman Movie... and honestly I want to watch some of the DVDs that I have. I'm sure I'll get some new ones too- but I think since it's a little slow on movies that are actually in theaters- Other than The Lego Movie and Isn't It Romantic... there aren't a lot I want to see... so seeing the movies I actually have seems like a better thing to do. Plus we've been having fun watching movies at home. It is super cold.

Also I need to wash my makeup brushes... it's been a while to say the least and I just brought some brush cleaner... so that will be something I think I'm going to do... today. Probably right after I finish up this post.

Ohhh and I kind of want to start up some of my other social media things. I think I'm going to start my other blog again... maybe with 2 or 3 posts a week... I could probably get back to daily blogging by the end of the month- and maybe even my Instagram and youtube. I miss doing those and I think I can kind of manage my time to film a little bit... or write some reviews or makeup of the day and outfit of the day posts... Idk. It's just something I want to try to do again.

Anyway I think that is everything. I hope you guys like this! Let me know what your goals for february are!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
