BLACK FRIDAY DEALS!!!!! PT 1: THANKSGIVING NIGHT- What Did I order? What did I almost order? What am I looking for?

Alright guys its Thanksgiving night as I write this... and I don't like going to stores on Thanksgiving because I didn't like working on Thanksgiving... but I do like shopping online. It's just so easy to do and I like it. If you're my friend that I normally would buy presents for... maybe don't read this! Lol.

There were a few deals I was looking at...so I kinda jumped on some of those.

1) Target's Website

This was the first place I went cause... I wanted a game, some dvds and maybe a weighted blanket. Target's website was... odd? A lot of stuff was unable to ship to me or out of stock or something... so that was weird? I'm probably going to Target tomorrow so I might pick up other stuff there. But I did get a game! I got Zelda Breath of The Wild for the switch. My boyfriend has been wanting this game for a while and I thought it looked good. I like Zelda games- so I'll try it!

I did decide to buy something else from target later on...but I'll talk about that later.

2) Juvia's Place
Here's a bit of a spoiler for what I got my friends. I wanted to get them something a little bit bigger this year but I also want to get them multiple things... so I was kinda looking for deals. I love the Warrior Palette from Juvia's Place... it's such a good neutral palette... and the Juvia's Place website had it for half off so that was especially good. I was going to get it from Ulta's website- but then thought I'd see what the Juvia's Place Website had going on just in case and it was a really good deal... so that was great! You could also still use affiliate links with the sale- which is great!

3) Beautylish
I really wanted to try the Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette while it was on sale. I've never really wanted to try Jeffree Star before... but I'm curious after seeing Shane's series so I thought it's on sale I might as well try. I had stuff in my cart and I was checking out on Jeffree's website and there was a wait... and it was a pretty long wait and I just wasn't that patient... then I remembered Beautylish usually carries the same products and has the same deals... so I went there and got the Blood Sugar Palette! I was going to get a liquid lipstick... but decided not too cause idk. I'm not sure I like Liquid lipsticks all that much.

What I almost got
I almost got some Funko Pops. Boxlunch has 30% off their site and hot topic has buy 2 get 1 free on their pops. Boxlunch's deal ended up being a little bit better and I almost got one of each of the Umbrella Academy pops that just came out... They didn't have all of them but they had a good amount... and I do kind of want them- but that might be more fun to hunt. I also literally just had some Funko Pops from the Funko Store in my cart... but decided not to right now. They have 20% off and they still have their Funko Shop Exclusive Peppermint Lane Alice Cranberry with Crescent Moon Diner... I kind of want this I might just go ahead and order it. They also have a flocked energizer bunny available that I kinda want... IDK! Lol. It's pressure. I don't really collect Ad Icons unless its something that I like like Chester Cheetah.

4) Target
Decided I really didn't want to pay more than $30 for a weighted blanket... so I should just check to see what they have. They did have one from Room Essentials that's a Jersey Material... it's grey. The one that I wanted was only available in White and I'm not going to get a white blanket that I can't put in the wash. I feel like the Jersey Material will be better to keep clean and the grey color won't get too bad.

So that is everything... I hope you guys like it! I'm now looking at the 10 inch Coke a Cola Pop... idk guys! Ugh! Lol. I'm looking for DVDs and book deals in stores tomorrow. Probably going to Target.

Bye!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
