Target Tuesdays: Target Holiday Favorites!

Hey guys! I'm going to try to have holiday posts from now till Christmas... so yeah! I'm also going to be doing Cozymas on The Cozy Princess and I'll probably have more holiday posts and regular posts on Scribbles About Beauty

But anyway... since today is Tuesday I thought I'd start this out with a Target Tuesday!

The Wondershop

The Wondershop is their huge holiday aisle... they kind of have it for every holiday or season- but I really like it around christmas. There's always something to find there... they have so many decorations and food... and the food is usually really really good. They have really good indulgent trail mixes and candies and popcorn tins too. Plus they have brands like Hickory Farms and different flavors of candies like M&Ms. Plus my favorite- Chocolate Cherry Kisses... so so good!

So far this year I've only gotten Chocolate Cherry Kisses and M&Ms... but I saw they have both Tins of Popcorn and Popcorn Kernels... which I'm interested in. My mom wants some Hickory Farms so I'll probably pick those up next time... and I really want to try some of the Indulgent Trail Mixes and maybe some of the cookies... but I still have a box of the fall ones that I need to finish.

Bullseye's Playground

Last year I had a lot of luck at Bullseye's Playground! This year i haven't found anything yet... but a lot of times they have the same things or similar things- so I don't feel I really need it. It's easy to find some things for decorating in Bullseye's Playground... plus it's always super affordable!

The DVD Sales

A lot of times I just wait until this time of year to buy movies on DVD or Blu Ray because I like getting them on sale... and usually I don't watch it right away anyway. They have movies for like $5-$10... it's really good to wait until now to buy them.

I would recommend buying basically any disney movie you can see on sale... especially Under $20. It is very rare to see them for that cheap at Target and... who doesn't love Disney Movies? Lol. I would also recommend The Invisible Man because thats 7.50 right now and that was a great movie and Joker... I really liked that movie!

Aside from DVDs- pay attention to other things on sale too. I got a Weighted Blanket from there last year for a good price... Weighted blankets can be pricy and this one works REALLY well for me. I also got Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild... which is a great game for a nice sale. So... keep checking to see what's on sale.

Also look for the Target Circle offers because that can save you some money. I've seen a lot of offers on Toys and Games this year... which also includes puzzles and funko pop figures... which I buy a lot myself.

Always good things to know.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
